summer days. This next EP release from this Japanese
house producer and PG newcomer Oluca, 'Indigo', will
get you in that mood.

Indigo:

Smooth and jazzy, the natural warmth of maracas and hand 
drums heats up the dance floor in this super groovy tune by 
Oluca called "Indigo". This downtempo beat has just enough 
oomph to get your body moving, and enough chill factor to 
keep you enjoying your glass.

Nostalgia:

"Nostalgia" on the other hand of the EP by Oluca, is still 
quite warm, but definitely more fit for warming up the dance 
floor. The yang to "Indigo"s Yin. Oluca has the deep elements 
grinding low frequency bass with synth leads that are on point.

Vintage & Morelli (a.k.a. Marko Cubric) presents his triumphant debut artist album, "My Rose Enchanted Destiny", featuring a dozen brand new, genre-crossing tracks. Showcasing grooves and soundscapes ranging from deep house to trance, the album captures the unmatched versatility of the Serbian talent, not to mention his uncanny gift for intelligent, emotive, and often club-oriented electronic music.

Inspired heavily by world music, we are treated to a variety of downtempo, cinematic cuts in the early going, including the opener, "Prologue (feat. Nina Schofield)". Arguably the album's most memorable cut and the official first single, "Daydream" is Vintage & Morelli's first 4/4 offering in the tracklist and a song that epitomizes his gift for blending myriad influences and electronic subgenres into a single track. The song has already received early radio support from Above & Beyond, one of Vintage & Morelli's most generous and distinguished advocates.

Unforgettable vocal tracks also highlight "My Rose Enchanted Destiny", including "Sweet Surrender". Featuring a poignant performance by rising American singer-songwriter Arielle Maren, this thrilling cut evolves from a deep and moody chilled house cut to a peak-hour, trance-influenced stormer. Label newcomer Nina Schofield appears for the second time on the uplifting, 80s-inspired "We Are Future"; her vocal is both soulful and exhilarating.

It's always a special thrill to present new music from our dear friend Derek Silvester, a.k.a. Dezza, as he approaches nearly a decade of consistently emotive and uplifting contributions to our label. The Halifax native continues to digest a wide variety of influences, in crafting a unique sound that defies electronic music epoch or genre. His latest offering, a two-track EP, is one of his most memorable to date.

The title cut, "Brit", features a retro house rhythm and bassline, an artist signature, and resplendent pads; all the while, a faint lead melody begins to emerge and crescendo. Suddenly, a heartbreaking, yet transcendentally beautiful theme emerges in the main break, led by a delicate piano and backed by sweeping strings. Ultimately, the sublime lead theme returns and catapults the arrangement into a euphoric anthem.

The B-side track, "Hello", is arguably the more club-flavored tune of the pair. A layered chord progression -- vintage Dezza -- establishes an exhilarating tone early, while a pitched down 'hello' echoes in the breakdown. Once again, we are met with a cinematic main breakdown, in which soaring strings imbue the listener with an almost overwhelming anticipation for the song's latter half. The jubilant drop does not disappoint; it's a triumphant moment from an artist who is as skilled behind the decks as he is in the studio.

Norwegian producer Zimpzon has teamed up with Inuuro, an electronica/ambient trio also from Norway. This EP, entitled "Air", features two breathtaking downtempo cuts.

The title track begins with a beautiful soundscape, consisting of mesmerizing pads and captivating synth layers. A blissful breakbeat is introduced later, which goes extraordinarily well with the theme arpeggio lines. In the break, we witness a stunning piano line that seamlessly integrates with the following theme part. "Valley" takes off with delicious piano stabs and intriguing pad layers. Soon, lush synth lines are introduced, as well as a well-crafted breakbeat with unique percussion variations.

Inuuro & Zimpzon - Air

Release date: February 29, 2016

After almost a year, Swift & Shift returns to Pineapple Digital for with his 5 track EP, 'Far From You'. Hailing from Russia, this melodic laden EP is full of wonderful and uplifting arps, addictive chord progression, and the best mastering to bring out all of these delicate elements.

Eternal Movement:

Blasting saw waves grind away at the earth's crust as "Eternal Movement" blasts onward into the future. 

Far From You:

The track that is titled for the EP, "Far From You" is an intense journey of sound through space and time, that starts on the downhill and only picks up speed with each pounding beat.

Infinite Drift:

A track that creates feelings of solitude in trance, this overwhelming hard hitter will hype up anyone listening. "Infinite Drift" is aptly named for this soundscape.

Long Way Home:

Melodies on top of more melodies. "Long Way Home" is anything but if you're a fan of the melodic progressive house. Layers of uplifting progression is a play button away.

Valley Of Shadows:

Ending the EP on a mixture of slightly dark synths and thick layered saws, "Valley Of Shadows" may sound like an ominous name, but the sound structure makes this composition is anything but.
