About the Ep:
After releases in the past year on Oliver Schories' SOSO label, Modern Agenda and 90watts, and a string of remixes on a variety of labels, Paul Hazendonk is back on his own brainchild Manual Music with the first part of his 'Signature series' trilogy.

The experienced Dutch label owner, DJ and producer doesn't need much introduction. He's been a well respected name in the global electronic music scene for over fifteen years with Manual Music being around since 2005.

'Signature Series' marks a new chapter in his career. Three two-track solo releases spread over 2018 showcasing the versatile and crossover sound Paul stands for nowadays.

'Derelicte' kicks things off with it's funked up- and classy sounding melodic vibe, cleverly building up momentum towards a big climax and highly effective drop. This is just madness!

'Treffen' has got a bit of a more uplifting techno vibe. Proper pumping dance floor material here, and a bit darker when compared to it's predecessor.

Two cuts of dance floor candy offered here by the Manual label boss. And remember, this is only the first of three 'Signature Series' releases. Be sure not to miss any of them!

December 28 of 2017 we've lost one of Spring Tube's leading artists and simply our good friend for years - Rishi K. He was visiting his father in Jordan, both are died when their car collided with a lorry on the Suweimeh-Dead Sea Road. We extend our most sincere condolences to Rishi's family, friends, and fans.

With Spring Tube's 236th outing we present you the last release by Rishi K. on our label - "Through The Night". This EP includes his two exclusive original works that he signed us ten months back, as well as two remixes on the title track. First interpretation is provided by our veteran artist and label's constant mastering engineer - Domestic Technology, it's his first new work after a year of hiatus, and it's quality as always from this proficient producer. Whereas the second remix deliver our longstanding residents - Blood Groove & Kikis. Rishi asked us about the remix from these guys a couple of last years, this remix was our surprise for him, and we're sure he would be happy about it, - this version is a real masterpiece.

We've contacted Rishi's closest friend Eric (who was with Rishi and his father in the same tragic car accident, and survived), he helped us to connect with Rishi's brother Tamer who generously seconded our idea (with support from Blood Groove & Kikis, Domestic Technology, and B-Max) of giving all proceeds from sales of this release to charity. Eric and Tamer suggested that we can donate to non-profit organization MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies). Rishi interned there during graduate school and also wrote his master's thesis, supported by MAPS, on using syrian rue to treat depression. Rishi and Eric have numerous talks over the years on the promise of psychedelic medicines to treat depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, and many other psychological illnesses. Rishi would be happy to know that his music will funding this organization, if even with a little contribution. For helping this our donation you can buy a copy of this release or at least one track from it. Any your support is welcomed, and we all would be thankful to you for it.

The 40th release from Clubsonica Records welcomes Paul Kardos to the label for his debut single. The Hungarian artist is fresh off his best year to date, highlighted by releases on Perspectives Digital and Soundteller Records. The Hernan Cattaneo favourite now begins 2018 with the much anticipated ‘Main Theme' alongside remixes from Soluna, Dimuth K and Federico Monachesi.

Known for his groovy, melodic take on progressive house Paul puts his best foot forward with ‘Main Theme'. Beginning with warm, pulsating beats and shimmering atmospheres it's an inviting first act. Sleek, meditative arps push the narrative further into dreamy territory as spacey effects and driving percussion fill in the framework. Playful and emotive, the main break proves to be the perfect centerpiece with its lighthearted mood and smooth yet powerful drop. 

The first interpretation of ‘Main Theme' is provided by Soluna who is making his fifth appearance on the label. As one of Clubsonica's core artists, the Colombian has grown into a master storyteller, with many of his productions passing the ten minutes threshold and unfolding into captivating journeys. His ‘Main Theme' interpretation is no different coming in just under ten minutes and offering a wealth of scintillating sonic artefacts. It's smooth first act is both emotive and anticipatory, leading to an expansive break. At just over two minutes the centerpiece is a journey through cross cultural motifs and mesmerizing electronics, almost trance-like in a way and building in waves before the groove does finally drop for that magic moment. 

One of 2017's hottest new names in progressive house was undoubtedly Dimuth K. The Sri Lankan artist racked up production credits on Balkan Connection, Movement Recordings and Proton's Particles. Now returning to Clubsonica following a remix of ‘Yes I Do' by Movemé, Dimuth puts his own unique twist on ‘Main Theme'. Buzzing synths and a rolling groove immediately grab your attention while the primary motif delicately gets worked into the mix. Its vivacious energy carries wonderfully into the main break where astral moods and decayed sonics capture your imagination, before the serene narrative transitions the piece to a whimsical finale. 

The third and final interpretation of ‘Main Theme' is provided by Federico Monachesi who is making his first appearance on the label. The Argentinean artist has always chosen his projects wisely with 2017 seeing releases on Movement Recordings, Soundteller Records and Stellar Fountain. Long noted for his pristine production Federico closes the release out strong with a superb rendition of ‘Main Theme'. Backed by a spacious groove the mood is funkier, with broader appeal and yet no less emotive. Distinctive vocal samples and a simple but effective take on the original theme works wonders, while a celestial break serves to shift the narrative momentarily, setting up an even groovier third act. A wonderful remix from Federico which rounds out another strong offering from Clubconica Records. Don't miss it.

We have had the good fortune of working with Airdraw, the exceedingly gifted Argentine composer and DJ, since 2011, when he graced us with the harmonious and uplifting "Olaen" EP. With consistent offerings to our label, ranging from deep-progressive house to trance, ever since, it should come as no surprise that his new single, "Bryde's Whale," is another melodic masterpiece. Teaming up with his Argentine countrymen Jo.E & Aaren on this specific production, Airdraw crafts a layered, euphonious, and ultimately poignant composition, centering on radiant pads and a tenderhearted (and timeless) piano score. Featured by Tom Fall on last year's Silk Music Showcase 06, "Bryde's Whale" proves to be as majestic a progressive opus as the marine species for which it is named.
