It lives in many areas of wich we all do use:
- wetlands
- mudflats
- estuaries
- lakes.
These are all the lands the Canadian Goose takes


It came from north america in 1929
an exotic water bird they thought be easy to confine

;But then it spread near everywhere its traces we can find ;
;From Ireland to New Zealand they have conquered Unconfined

They aren't very common in this land we live so far
We'v kept them mostly out of all the places we have bared

but now there's been some sightings, from vic to new south wales 
they've been put on high alert if you should see one on your trails.

Brown and white, A loud low Quack
bill, tail, legs, feet'n neck are all Black
He's got a 3.2 foot back  
And with 6 foot wings you dont wanna get whacked

 they look so cute and they seem so nice,
But dont you be too quick to let him get out of your sight
They'll attack your family they'll attack your wife 
These Geese are quite a hazard to a public now in strife 

Taking over waterways competing with the native birds, 
Eating many crops and pastures we use for our herds
Transmitting bad diseases to our natives and our farms
All could come to pass if we don't keep them in our yards
