This song stems from a personal experience I had. I heard someone suffering from some sort of abuse through a headset while playing Xbox of all things. It was a terrible feeling I had that I couldn't help someone I knew that needed it. When that person came back, they tried covering up the sounds I heard as something else - saying they were taking a nap. I hope that kid I heard gets help, and I hope that any of you that witness abuse can speak for those who are too afraid to speak for themselves.
