Awesome really! I'm really looking forward to it. This track was created from an idea that I had in my dream and really wanted to implement immediately. But the design of this track was so shitty...but I wanted it to sound the way I heard it... And I was successful with my ambition.

I now know: you can make something good out of a shitty track.....

Guajira en el río va de la búsqueda de colores y alegría en las raíces cubanas. Va de la búsqueda más hacia dentro que hacia afuera. Va de las ganas de quedarse y no de irse. Va de una guajira mojada y floreciendo en el río.

BIO: Adrian Aguiar es un joven guitarrista cubano con influencias del jazz, la música clásica, bossa nova y géneros de la música cubana y latina. Comenzó sus estudios de violonchelo en el Conservatorio Alejandro García Caturla a los 8 años hasta que descubrió su pasión por la guitarra 5 cinco años más tarde. Se graduó de la Escuela Nacional de Música en 2019 y obtuvo plaza para ingresar al Instituto Superior de las Artes (ISA), pero decidió no entrar para dedicarse por entero a encontrarse musicalmente, seguir los caminos del jazz y crear sus propias composiciones y arreglos. Desde entonces ha participado en eventos como el festival Jazz Plaza y ha tocado con muchos músicos de su país como Dayron Ortiz, Emilio Martiní, Camila Guevara, Frank Fonte, Richard Fando, Jonathan Formell, Tobías Alfonso, Julito Padrón, Dayron Ortiz entre otros.

I'll Be Your Dog

Lamenta eleni silmë was born out of a desire to capture the fragility and beauty of an ephemeral moment, like the light of the stars on a deep night. When I composed this piece, I wanted to create a bridge between the past and the present, between ancient traditions and the modern soul. Each note and rhythm was carefully chosen to transport the listener into a state of deep tranquility, where time seems to stand still. At the same time, I intended for this piece to be a lament of sorrow, a cry of grief that brings comfort to those facing loss and sadness.

I chose Quenya over Sindarin or any other Elvish languages because Quenya is the language of the High Elves, those who lived in the blessed realm of Valinor, closest to the divine. It carries with it a sense of purity, timelessness, and a deep connection to the origins of Elven culture. Quenya’s lyrical and ancient beauty felt like the perfect medium to express the ethereal and almost sacred nature of this lament. Unlike Sindarin, which is more commonly spoken in Middle-earth and has a more earthly tone, Quenya evokes a world of fantasy, filled with mystery and nostalgia, adding a timeless dimension to this creation. The female voice, echoing as if from another world, is meant to soothe and provide solace, while the traditional instruments, such as the cithern, add an organic, almost ritualistic texture.

I wanted the listener to feel enveloped by an inner warmth, a light that guides them through a chaotic world. This piece is an invitation to introspection, a chance to lose oneself in thought and find a moment of peace amidst the tumult of daily life. Lamenta eleni silmë is more than a melody; it is a song of lament for those seeking inner light, a moment of breath in an ever-moving universe.

Ladat, born Ladislav Tesar, is Litomerice (Czech republic) native, body and soul, who writes and composes his music in Chatel-St-Denis, Switzerland. Ladat is not a band in the true sense of the word, but rather a musical project that emerged in 2019 as an escape from reality, because things go better with music.

Ladat's musical odyssey defies conventional labels and freely blends elements of rock, folk, country, and jazz into a rich and genre-bending style that invites listeners to explore the diverse spectrum of influences that shape his emotional and diverse compositions.
As an experienced composer and lyricist, Ladat weaves stories that deeply resonate with audiences and offers a captivating and immersive musical experience, where each song is an expression of boundless passion, creativity, and an unapologetic celebration of musical diversity.

Since 2021, Ladat has been collaborating freely with the Slovenian A7 Recording Studio and musicians around guitarist and drummer Blaž Pavšič, such as Uroš Mohorič (guitar), Gregor Alič aka Hanson or Peter Beznec (bass), and singers Anton Premec, Kristina Jelić, Maja Štebih, Hana Pavšič or Oliver Neff aka Titanic Jack.
