Rock Despot - No Babies

“Rogue Wave” could easily be mistaken for a love song. Lyrics such as “She’s my new era, paradigm shifter, with her together it all just fits well,” certainly imply that sentiment. But the ‘she’ that I’m singing about is music itself. “Rogue Wave” is an ode to my craft. A preoccupation that has me dreaming up compositions while filling a grocery basket, running ear training drills on my phone while taking public transit, or picking out pieces of dialogue from TV shows that could be worked into lyrics.
