It's been a little bit since I put up an original composition. This is one inspired by the SWTOR MMO. I love the music in that game both from John Williams film music and the original music in the game. 
A game loop form with film score style thematic material. 
Concept - a later generation finding and learning the history of Tython.

Ruins Of Tython (SWTOR inspired)

This song is again a Starwars fan art composition. Inspired by the planet Korriban (later known as Moriband) in SWTOR, but heavily influenced by the structure and orchestration concepts and tonality of "Anthem of Evil" by John Williams from the Rise of Skywalker OST.  One of my favorite William's pieces of all time!(even with his missive back catalogue)

Korriban Was Forgotten

Third Star Wars study track. Delving into Fanfares for this one. The form and structure is inspired heavily(aka stolen)from the finale and credits of "IV : A New Hope", but the melodic material is mostly influenced by Copeland's brilliant "Fanfare for the Common Man" (taking influence from William's influences). Starting with a scene change entering into the bare fanfare, followed by a romantic theme that uses some influence from the fanfare melody. Finally, an orchestrated version of the fanfare to truly feel galaxy-level grand!

Victory On Corellia

Another school Assignment scored to the opening credits of an old film called "Buster and Billie". Looked to some 60's and 70's folk inspiration.

School Assignment for Quartal harmony. Took a modal route and reflected a Sonata form between Aeolian (Tonic) and Phrygian (Dominant) modes - though the development is very brief.

A Siege Of Rome

A collaborative song composed by Benjamin Sebald and Alex Kim. Lyrics were adapted from an old Tolkien poem by the same name. Duet vocals by Rebecca Presti and Sainte (@musicbysainte).

The Shores Of Faery

Wrap up for section 3 of Contemporary Composition 1. This piece is mixes poly-rhythms, poly-meters, changing meters, and the structural ideas of John Cages latter works. It all focus on the second mode of melodic minor. The Pennywhistle was written in proportional notation above the traditionally notation for guitar and piano to be free of the complex rhythmic ideas... and because I don't play it well enough to get good air and think about odd counts.

Nahanni Reserve

This was an assignment to rescore the trailer to the 2004 movie "Troy". Very fun, intense, and helpful lesson on working with a trailer.

Troy Trailer Score

A piece exploring the mystery of Melchizedek and the beauty of Christ and the spotless lamb who died to be our high priest. Genesis 14, Psalm 110, and Hebrews 5 - 7 are the sections in the piece (pauses between each).

A menu loop made for a tower defense game. Some temp-score ideas included music from Iron Man, The Bourne Identity, and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Hopefully all those influences meshed together well in this final version.

Robo-Tower Defense (Menu)

This film featured Fenic Foxes from the Sahara. The size and nature of the desert features Middle Eastern rhythms, Ney Flute, and Duduk. The dryness and sand bring in some Spanish Guitar, Rain Stick, and Tambourine. The Foxes themselves receive influences from the music of Mali nations both in scale and the Bala instrument. The final closing title sequence features the Bala and Pankeke patterns, but is more of an ordinary fanfare.

Fennec Fox Den

A score to the alternate opening of Disney's animation's "Atlantis". This scene featured some mysterious opening shots  developing into a very adventurous moment at sea.

A personal opening breaks into a resolute mid and ending section. Written for a short scene depicting both family and a call to service.

A common mix of light suspense and jokes found in comedies. Some pauses for punchlines and the like.

An old class project that was left half done - Finally wrapped it up and finished the score. It moves very quickly between different moods and environments, but is tied together with two main themes.
