Krasnale (Original Soundtrack)

"How do you make love to a sinner? The things he's addicted to. The problems he put you through." Sinner became the reoccurring track in the film as I feel it embodied the very tale of Hamlet.

Sinner

This track takes 'Embrace' and 'Opening' two pieces from the album and merges them together. I wanted something lighter before the third act reaches it's climax. A conversation between two gravediggers.

Grave Diggers

An angel stands besides you in your darkest time. A track placed in one of the more violent scenes in the 2020 film 'Enter The Ghost'. Brutality and pain but someone keeps watching over you.

Scarlet

The Ghost enter's. Hamlet is confronted by the apparition of his murdered father. Life stands still. The netherworld has crossed onto ours. Original version was performed on stage in 2016.

Where It Comes

This track was such a pleasure to make, it always felt so graceful and humble. The strings and esoteric vocals kept to their own pace creating this arresting duet.

Sinister, mysterious, and thought provoking. Pulled from a scene about one's underlying taboo thought of wanting to disappear or die.

Too Solid Flesh

I love this track. It had always reminded me of early French cinema. Floating and delayed piano with a light string accompaniment. 'The Wedding' feels like a slow waltz through time. It introduces; King Claudius, Queen Gertrude and of course Hamlet.

Co-written by JohnlikeJohn in 2018 this song had been born from his guitar section in the beginning and transformed into a strange and frightening piece that had the pleasure of introducing the audience to the first act.

Nightwatch

This track was the opening credits to the TV show. I based it on four simple parts; Strings, Filter Strings, Piano and Brass. It always reminded me of preparation before a battle. Soldiers conflicted thoughts about going to war.

Opening

I knew this piece would become the title song to the TV Series. It had a life of it's own and brought a smile on my face every time I would have a tinkle on the piano. It was written during the early post production stage of 'Enter The Ghost' (2020
