While carefully handling their respective careers, postponing then their obvious collaboration, Möd3rn trio's members have capitalized its desire and now deliver its mere substance, in the rightest moment, where, simply, all the distant forces converge.
The six daring, expert hands merge now into a unique entity, unanimously moving within the same effort towards techno music. Of the distinct identities merely remains the ethereal, synthetic essence devoted to the group, and the common musical passion that leads it. The formula is elaborated freely: each one's adjunctions -subtle keys, nervous chords, underground blows, rhythmical uproars- pour into a thick maelstrom, opaque, condensing Detroit's grieving sensibilities as well as last decade's bewildering cacophonies. The potion obtained is irresistible, an ecstatic hybrid, prodigiously actual, that renders all the genre's diversity and dynamism.
Chance intertwined their paths and now the three companions celebrate both the friendship that resulted and the good fortune that has driven it, by improvising live together as one faceless, solid body agitated by the urge of dance and music, composing the material that shall be processed later on to form their eponym label's releases.

Jasper Wolff & Maarten Mittendorff - Trica

There's an air of mystery about this one, which is always nice when you're talking about ragged-round-the-edges dark room techno. The Leyla label is a brand new imprint out of the Netherlands, from an impresario with impeccable credentials in an entirely different sphere of electronic music, but who is clearly taking very serious steps into "classic techno with a modernist twist". There's not so much mystery about Manni Dee, mind. Whether alone or with Happa as Habits Of Hate, the London-based producer has been dropping relentlessly dark tracks for half a decade now, and this is among his best. Watch it cause a riot in the rave.

Benjamin Damage is an innovative UK techno artist, the first artist signed to Berlin’s legendary 50Weapons label and the last to release an album at its closure. This period produced three critically acclaimed albums and many EPs, drawing from diverse sources to help define the crossover UK / Berlin techno sound.

As well as two, highly charged four-tracks for Len Faki’s Figure label and ‘Deep Space Transit’ on ARTS, Benjamin put out two stinging dance floor cuts as BDB, a secret collab with label mates, Feel My Bicep. A live-recorded cut for Jeff Mill’s Axis Records was released this year. 

Performing on an all-hardware setup, Benjamin’s storming live performances have lit up the best clubs and festivals all around the world. The powerful setup has been fully redeveloped for 2021.
