When Forbidden Society, Donny and Katharsys launched their heavy hitting drum & bass / crossbreed - and even sometimes hardcore - supergroup 3RDKND in 2018, it was clear the world was in for a heavy ride. Their ‘Remnant’ EP hit the stores in 2019 and it was only a matter of time before remixes followed, and they did.  After Abis had the honour of doing the first remix for the 3RDKND outfit on ‘Prophets Of The Doom Remixes Part 2’, it is now finally time for a full remix EP with nothing but flips of 3RDKND originals, and boy does it deliver. The full spectrum of dark, obscure and heavy hitting drum 'n bass gets covered. From heavily techno infused Pythius and Forbidden Society reworks to outright hardcore / breakcore remixes by Deathmachine and The Satan, the entire release takes no prisoners from start to finish.  Neonlight bring their own brand of heavy deep roller vibes to the party, while Hallucinator do what they do best: elevate crossbreed to the highest possible standard. To top off this masterclass in tearout destruction, we are treated by Katharsys and Donny VIP's with snares flying around like a hand grenade explosion, and to top it off Forbidden Society treats us to a second VIP by his hand, further exploring the murkier vibes started by Neonlight on this release.  One thing is perfectly clear: this is not for the faint of heart, but it has the potential to enchant even those who would normally not dare to venture into this realm of the drum & bass spectrum.

BENJAMIN LECTER.......


2001 was the year everything started…. 

Then and for the first time I got in touch with monotonous repetitive dance music. 

I took a tremendous interest in this kind of music and as I knew a DJ, I asked him 
to lend me some CDs. 
These were from Monika Kruse, DJ Rush and Joy Kittikonti. 

As I was totally stoked from this music I asked where someone can get such humongous tracks… 
His answer: "The really good music you can only get on vinyl and nowhere else!" 
Thus I definitively decided to acquire two turntables or rather a DJ equipment. 

During the last years the hobby grew to passion. The “deejaying“ became an important part of my life. 
And so things went on........

I was born the 1st January 1986 in Hechingen. 
I live in a little village near Empfingen (Baden-Württemberg)

Im Jahre 2001 begann alles....
 
Zu dieser Zeit kam ich das erste Mal mit monotoner repetitiver Tanzmusik in Berührung.
 
Mit großer Begeisterung begann ich mich für diese Art von Musik zu interessieren.
Als ich einen DJ kennenlernte, bat ich Ihn darum, er solle mir doch bitte mal ein paar CD's geben.
Diese waren von Monika Kruse, DJ Rush und Joy Kittikonti.
Ich war von dieser Musik so wahnsinnig begeistert, dass ich nachfragen musste, woher man solch geniale Tracks bekommt....
Die Antwort war: "Solche Musik bekommst du nur auf Vinyl (Schallplatte), sonst nirgends!"
 
Da stand der Entschluss für mich definitv fest, mir Schallplattenspieler beziehungsweise ein DJ Equipment zuzulegen.
 
Mit den Jahren entstand aus Freude am Hobby noch mehr als nur
"Liebe zur Musik". Das Deejaying wurde für mich zu einem wichtigen
Teil meines Lebens.
 
Und so nahmen die Dinge Ihren lauf........
