Benjamin. Thank you for this entry. You’ve adhered to the style in the brief quite nicely. Compositionally this is right in the ballpark for where we want to be. From a programming and mix perspective I’d give it a solid B. You’re making all the correct musical decision for the most part. The samples themselves however in this piece aren’t doing you a whole lot of favors. By the time we get about 0:34 into the track we’re already about as full as we want to be. So we don’t have a lot of room to progress as we move thru the rest of the sections. I’d say overall, the tone we’re trying to capture is gentle, delicate, thought provoking etc. As presented we’re just a bit “full” for the most part. All of that said, very good job on nailing the style!
