Stumbled across this one from 2019 … and decided it's worth a share. If I recall correctly, I had envisioned a Western town where a visitor arrives under the suspicious gaze of the inhabitants. After facing a few challenges, he rises to become the town sheriff and governs with a firm and fair hand.

"Corvus" describes the long journey of a crow. Though it may simply be traveling from one place to another, to some, it serves as an omen.

Exodus tells a story of restlessness, departure, and adventure. The journey goes on and on, and as it progresses, companions increase.

For this piece, I had a giant mirror in mind – one that not only reflects yourself but the whole world. Perhaps this is my musical take on what the world's reflection might sound like.

As always, I had a lot of fun while creating “Mirror”, especially while recording the vocals. By the way: The low tone at 0:18 is a subharmonic note – it's one of the few times I've been able to hit that note.

Soft piano and warm strings for a quiet farewell scene. For me, it’s not a sad goodbye – there’s joy in the idea of seeing each other again.

As the days kept getting longer, I felt like writing something for their endings.
From the very beginning of Aton, the sun is no longer fully visible. The sun disappears completely with the final chord.

Do you know those carefree summer evenings? Maybe just yesterday was one of them. When the air is warm, everything is calm, and the only sound is gravel under your feet as you walk an empty track across the fields. "Silence" is for that feeling.

I started working on it back in early spring, when evenings like that were still far away. Adding some of my own recordings (like birds chirping and the crackling of fire) already brought a sense of nostalgia and made those moments feel closer.

Musically, it’s simple: a few piano chords from an improvisation, layered with more piano and some airy synths. The atmosphere and most of the percussion come from everyday sounds: for example, a bicycle rack as a hi-hat, a watering can as a snare, and an incoming train turned into a riser.

The goal: music that feels like silence. I hope you enjoy.

Music like snow. Falling softly, bringing silence.

I make cinematic music, centered around the piano. Often melancholic, but not without hope. Calm, but not without movement. I hope it gives you something.

My path to this kind of music wasn’t straightforward.
I quit piano lessons as a kid after just two months. Years later, I got into recording and collecting sounds. I also began capturing instruments with my modest setup. But there was one problem: I couldn’t actually play one myself. So I bought a keyboard and started taking piano lessons again. From then on I couldn't let go of music.

The music that always stayed with me was film music – fascinated by how it tells stories and how it adds depth to a moment. Over time, my own pieces became more narrative, more atmospheric. Until they became what I share with you today.
