This is a stereo version of an 8 channel composition that explores our relationship to silence and noise.  It was created with the intension of bringing awareness towards silence from our current overstimulating and noisy world.

An extract from my recent show 'A Fire Under The Mind', which was exhibited at Old Bank Studios in Penryn, Cornwall on the 14th and 15th of December 2017. This project explored the use of sound composition and photography as equal elements within an audiovisual artwork.

The work consisted of 12 hand-printed 10 x 8 black and white prints accompanied by an infinitely looping sound composition played via 5 headphones. 

All sounds and photographs were recorded in London between September and November 2017.
