For Unison 7, we raised money for the Asian Pacific Fund (https://asianpacificfund.org) to help stop anti-Asian racism. My main set was 10:00pm on Friday (Day 1) which will be posted later. This set is a bit different. Played from 3:30am-6:30am Sunday morning, this set is a nearly 3hr journey through some house tracks I've been collecting over the years. Enjoy!

Journey Through The Night: Live at Unison 7 Renegade

A follow up to "Yacht Music for Yacht People", this set follows the same ebb and flow of that set.  Yacht Rock is more than just smooth rock from the 70s and 80s, it is a reimagining of a genre that requires continuous exploration.  This is my reinterpretation of that genre. Features remixes from Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley, Peter Gabriel, The Police, David Bowie, Billy Idol, Depeche Mode, and Queen.

Drop It Like It's Yacht

Inspired by the beauty and power of plants and its relationship to its surroundings.  It brought flashbacks of the movie Adaptation, and I couldn't help remembering the scene where John Laroche discusses the special relationship that each flower has with insect that pollinates it.  "By simply doing what they're designed to do, something large, and magnificent happens." This lushpod was recorded live at Crazy Diamond by Cielos, and features tracks by Kora, Lee Foss, WhoMadeWho, Angelo Ferreri, Guy Manzur, Natural Rhythm, and Tete De la Course.
