The "Sun Chapter One" Lp, designates in an anachronism my first chapter. 
This insofar as it allows, through the retrospective, to give form to my current artistic creation. 

It stands as a preface, but already carries the importance of the whole narrative of my musical development.

The six tracks are an expression of my experiences of the past four years; they are united by the reflection of the atmospheres located in them in my personal translation to music.

The Lp is marked by my personal confrontation with melancholy and its power; a state which in the process of its recognition experiences lightness and at the same time force.

For the second edition of Speciale, we fly to Basel, Switzerland.

It is a pleasure to share this EP with Ben Kaczor, an artist already engaged in managing his label KCZ/CZT, releasing on Dial Records, and performing all over Europe.

Ben presents two dark and hypnotic tracks that defines his deep musical taste characterized by hypnotic grooves and synths soundscapes together with melancholic basslines.

The other two tracks are produced by Orion.

Imagine this record as a single entity: a journey into a dusty club where grooves and melodies guide you towards dawn.

This time Orion Records returns to club music to define their vision of Techno.

in the realm of pure essence, sentient beings have yet again been sent to explore the scents of the unknown. in awe of the tales that eletun selona previously unveiled, three distinct senders heard the echoes of the cove and set out to explore the depths of the auditory psyche.

months later, they gathered around the white, luminous spirit, presenting their findings.
it turns out that the worn paths eletun left behind have long been ablaze, still burning, and that the three emissaries scattered fuel over them, ensuring they will shine forever.

martinou interprets “losing what once was”, and in the process gains a heartening shield against the vast nothingness of loss. the sound of eletun is transformed in true martinou fashion to a swelling crescendo, ever growing until the zenith is reached where we revisit the stuttering voice of bittersweet reminiscence.

ben kaczor, intrigued by the idea, reaffirms that we are indeed “safe”. ben’s masterful treatment of the original idea gives way to the gradually unfolding pads of eletun’s original instalment and allows them to fully ring out over an unrelenting, extended deep beat.

orion acknowledges the message of “our prophecy” and blends it into an intricate pattern of rhythm and melody, creating a place one can easily escape from the mundane. the groove is ever present, changing and organic.

What happens if a sound archive consisting of around 50,000 hours of underwater audio material collected over the past 10 years is opened up for sound experiments, live sessions and installations? «Nothing Comes Back the Same» is a 15-minute sound piece resulting from Ben Kaczor’s engagement with the archive of the project «Computersignale». Original archive samples were processed using the upcoming sssn MAX plugin by artist & educator N EV, further manipulated with Hainbach’s Tape Station at the SMEM Museum in Fribourg, and expanded through synthesizers into new harmonic atmospheres. The work is a sonic reflection on impermanence, texture, and time. 

The audio archive is an offspring of Hannes Rickli’s artistic research project «Computersignale». The beginnings of the archive date back to 2012; it continues to expand as long as the recording equipment lasts.

The archive and its artistic processing as part of the «See Signals Sea Noise» mediation program is supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), the Ernst Göhner Foundation and the Zurich University of the Arts.

For our fourth release, we welcome Basel-based producer Ben Kaczor. ‘To Baby Bones’ showcases the tracks produced as part of Ben’s first live set presented at Above Below Festival in 2024. 

Written as a homage to a loved one, the title track of the EP is a gentle soundscape traveling through memories and subtle body shivers, far away yet never out of heart’s reach. ‘Bridge’, as if hung high above, suffuses the air with a thick emotional haze, lifting slowly as a walk along a fragile structure ends. Wistfully transforming present into past, ‘This Blue Light’ melds with the orange glow of the sun and dissolves into a white cloud. Driving and fizzy 'Punchbag’ brings all the dreamers down to earth. Immersing them straight into the buzzing front left, it buoyantly concludes an ode to the melody of life and the joy of a loving heart — To Baby Bones.
