シンガポールのkitchen.Labelよりの過去２作目で見せたジャズピアノへの傾倒は、この作品で大いなる過去の歴史と未来への指針となるようなエレクトロニクスの技巧と生演奏の驚異的な邂逅となった。過去３年に渡り制作された本作はMoonlit Invocations(月の光に照らされた祈り)というタイトルが示すように荘厳な世界観に加え、美しさと醜さを含むあらゆる世界への畏怖のようなものさえ感じられる大傑作！

90年代、00年代のポストロック、エレクトロニカ、ポストジャズ、シカゴ音響派などの音楽を浴びるように吸収し、独自の音楽世界を切り開いてきたFJORDNE、この作品では古いジャズのレコードからサンプリングされた素材、生演奏で収録されたピアノ、緻密なエレクトロニクスなどが極めて丁寧かつ、重厚に、そして退廃的なまでに美しく構築されている。ガウディの建築のように、どこまでも迷宮的で、一回の試聴体験では、全部を把握する事は不可能であるような、何度も聞きたくなる奥行きをもった作品となった。FJORDNE自身はこの作品を、混乱、退廃の時に生まれる諦めに似た祈り／６０年代のジャズの深淵な黒い美しさ／過去から現代を見るような視点／リズム、ハーモニーの不調和から調和に移りゆくバランス／という言葉で説明するように、相反する要素の融合もテーマとなっている。
世界史的な混迷の時代を迎えている現代に聞くべき祈りにも似たマスター・ピースの登場！！！
