Originally hailing from Serbia, Misha is a Washington DC-based artist who has been making a name for himself with releases on Rawthentic, Tamango, and his own High Class Nasty imprint, with his last two outings gracing the top spot in the Beatport tech house charts. The Echostage resident now readies his Hottrax debut with the vibrant ‘Ritmo De Verao’ EP, fusing kinetic beats and low-end grooves. 

Opener 'Ritmo De Verao' is a party-pumping cut peppered with lively percussion, rolling snares and tin-pot sounds next to an alluring vocal that brings the heat to what is a no-nonsense tech house weapon. 'Issues' follows, combining more steamy house beats with sensuous vocals, slick drum programming and smart filters to build the tension before 'Snake Charmer' enters more hypnotic territories with its mystic leads, chopped vocal stabs and restless toms.

Three decades on from its original 1995 release, Todd Terry’s 'Devil’s Dance' still burns with the kind of manic, floor-filling energy that defined the early years of Hard Times. Now, Todd and the label return to the track, inviting a trio of today’s most vital club architects to rework one of Todd's most incendiary productions for a new generation of dancers.

Following a year that saw Chris Stussy and Dan Shake breathe new life into 'Bounce to the Beat,' Hard Times closes out 2025 with 'Devil’s Dance (Remixes),’ a collection that bridges old-school grit and new-school heat. Rossi., Demi Riquísimo, and Cinthie each bring their own distinct combustion to Todd’s iconic organ riffs and bulbous bassline, reframing the track through London, Berlin, and Balearic prisms.

Rossi. leans into the city that raised him: “It’s been a real pleasure to remix such an iconic inspiration for me as an artist. Todd is a legend and part of the reason why we have the culture of music we have today. I wanted to bring my remix back to my London roots - a UKG skippy, warpy approach that still carries those iconic chord riffs.”

For Demi Riquísimo, the task was reverent yet fearless. “I’ve been playing the original out for years, it’s actually my favourite Todd Terry track,” he says. “I didn’t want to tidy it up or make it too clean. That rough, raw production is what makes it magic. I added an acid line, a more prominent bassline, a few extra stabs, and shuffled the drums until it felt right.”

Berlin’s Cinthie closes the circle with her signature fusion of analog warmth and precision club dynamics: “Remixing Todd Terry? I was mad excited. For me, it was important to keep the old-school vibe but transport it into current times.”
