Is Sax live or sampled? Either way, love it.

After jamming with tenor sax for a little while to the original piece, this section felt good to me, so grabbed it, did a hard edit at the end, and pressed record. Then added a little delay and reverb, and cut some holes in what I'd recorded, to give a little more space.

This track is a posthumous collaboration with Jeffrey Melton, aka Nofi, who passed away on March 30, 2013. It was recorded live in April 2013 atop a June 2012 Melton live recording.

Sweet Popcorn & Salty Clouds (disquiet0066-nonofi)

I am a human animal & through my creative practices seek to connect to the flow of life to let my innate intuition guide me before my logical mind controls me. To undo or at least side-step some of my cultural conditioning so the spirits of the place I am in can express through me. This  forest I am in, the rock I sit on beside this stream, the footpath below my feet, this vast planet we all live upon. The natural world so often unconsidered, ignored, I aim to give it some voice.
