Italian/Swedish Post-club trio Emmecosta is back after 5 years
to release new music

Dreamy soundscapes, urban beats and nordic coolness is what you get when you throw Positano, Milan, and Gothenburg into a stylish mix. Add to that Claudio Pallone, Alfonso Fusco, and Aldo Axha and you get Emmecosta. The post-club trio hailing from the small Italian town of Positano has been residing, recording and releasing music in Sweden for the past seven years. After coming to consider themselves Swedish nationals, two thirds of the trio has now followed their Italian roots back to Milan. During the last few years the group has thus found a new strong pull, to portray and develop their Swedish/Italian connection through their forthcoming work. Now the trio is preparing the long awaited release of their debut album of 5 years, 'Overnight', with its first single ‘White River’ dropping on September 23.

Emmecosta's intoxicating and atmospheric dream-pop has already attracted repeated airplay here in Scandinavia (P3, P4 and YleX), and been featured by international press, the likes of Noisey, Complex and Clash Magazine, the latter quite brilliantly described the trio's music as “post-club tropical indie soul”. ‘White River’, in true Emmecosta post-club fashion, keeps exploring and enhancing that sense of self-awareness in the calming hours after a party, just before bed. With its soft building vocals and the dull chime of a piano embroidered by the warm embrace of sweetly swelling strings, the new single gives way for a melancholy feeling of both comfort and anguish, all in one breath.

Pairing up with Swedish boutique music label Icons Creating Evil Art (ICEA) at its dawning in 2015, listeners were introduced to Emmecosta’s two nocturnal EPs 'Untied' (2016) and 'Velour' (2017), with synths, punctuated guitar and silky vocals that evoke memories of Phoenix (circa 2004). Now we are happy to announce that the trio are at last preparing the release of their long awaited debut album of 5 years. The much anticipated full-length is called 'Overnight' and features 10 new exquisite tracks, celebrating and portraying that dream-like state of walking home alone after a night out, accompanied only by the sunrise and your thoughts.

Ben Noble is a Minneapolis-based singer-songwriter. His second LP,"Where The Light Comes In" is due out in March 2020. Noble's sophomore effort is a major expansion of the sonic palette, introducing drums, synths, electric guitars, and much more to Noble's signature ethereal vocal melodies and textures. It is as much a sonic experiment as it is a heart- rending search for answers to questions of grief and the cyclical nature of trauma.
