Ron Costa made a first label appearance back in 2013 with the dark groove and twisted vocals of ‘Berlidof’. The following year he was back, turning his remix talents to Paul Ritch’s ‘Pulse’. Today the Frenchman makes a welcome return with a brand new double-header - Goose / Erussel. 

Having had a global audience Dancin’ for the past twelve months Costa flies solo once again. Fresh from his excellent remix of Pig&Dan he delivers another brace of gripping techno tracks for SCI+TEC. 

The hypnotic Goose presents an almost asphyxiating groove that tightens throughout. One for the strobe-lit rooms, no doubt. Erussel on the flip is a different animal altogether. With its spacious beats and epic radiant rise, its a track that will have the dancer reaching for the celestial sphere.

Our 20th release on the label comes from long time DH Artist & Florida based gangster, Michael Rosa. It's been a long time since Rosa first showed up at our coldest Desert Hearts Festival to date as a wide-eyed 22 year old with little more than a T-Shirt, thinking he was in for a relaxing weekend in San Diego! But we've all witnessed Rosa's transformation into a world class producer as he steadily pumps out track after track of pure fire. Since the beginning of the label he's been one of our favorite producers and we couldn't be more stoked to release his 2nd EP on Desert Hearts Records
 
With this 4 track EP titled "Abu", we get to see the full spectrum of Michael's sound. From Minimal to Tech House to Funk & everything in between, there's something for everyone in this package. The EP only gets better with an ultra fat techie remix from Jay Tripwire to round the whole thing out. We know you're gonna dig this.

Exactly two years after his first Sirion Release we proudly present MASTRA’s second 12“ titled
„Out of Nowhere“. This time around in collaboration with his buddy JON DONSON, who also
released his first EP on Sirion in Spring 2010.
The mood and structure of this latest coup entirely reflects the familiar yet different of the
Bernese natives MASTRA &amp; JON DONSON. For the first time in form of an exciting fusion of
individuals signed by both distinct handwritings.
„Out of Nowhere“ is a deep and, owing to a impulsive bass drum, repetitive Deep House
Track. This impression is given through a state of mind clearly offside of a classic course.
Nevertheless its bits and pieces remain stuck and arent easily banished.
PABLO BOLIVAR is known for his large spectrum of high quality compositions. Upholding that
standard he delights with yet another impressive interpretation. The subtly chosen synth
revive the base of the original track - an impulsive remix of vast variety.
The duo added another firecracker to this vinyl release with „Out of Pulpo“ and its distinctive
percussion and pressing sub bass. Perfectly suitable for the later advanced hours on the
dance floor and equally multifaceted as „Out of Nowhere“.
An original track apiece are the digital bonus. Let yourselves be surprised...

SCSI-9 — Atonal (Dave Pad's Interpretation)

Number eighteen on San Francisco’s Manjumasi showcases a pair of deep, groovy productions from the Miami-based Postrel brothers, m.O.N.R.O.E. + Adisyn. The title track “Acid Mating Call” is a deep, seductive tune with an absolutely hypnotic melody. Despite the soft and gentle tone, this one is irresistible on the dance floor. Next up is “Terminal Bliss,” which showcases the darker side of this duo’s sound, with a more melancholic groove punctuated by deep chords, with a mystical melody that floats off in the distance, alluring but just out of focus.

The first remix comes from UK veteran producer Martin Iveson aka Atjazz. His “Galaxy Aart Remix” of Terminal Bliss is an incredibly lush and ethereal take on the original. Galaxy describes the tone of this remix well, with a super spaced-out vibe and a wide soundfield that washes over the listener. Luscious percussion fills out the mix, with a simple but beautiful vocal hook anchoring the humanity of this mix.

Rounding out the package is a remix of Acid Mating Call from Ultrastation, the new techno collaboration between Cosmic Force and Nuno Dos Santos. Their remix puts the Acid in this Mating Call, a late-night techno stomper with swirling dubbed-out reverbs and delays layered over staccato synth stabs, and a trippy synth breakdown that breaks into pieces just before returning to a potent, powerful groove.

While the world is buzzing, vibrant and elusive today, the past turns blurry and the future becomes nothing more than speculation. Thus people who dare to make a stand become nowadays more relevant than ever before: Benny Grauer is a man who has faith in his own beliefs. This led him some years back to energetic techno music and Grauer himself to becoming a purveyor of fine techno music whether as producer, label manager or DJ.

Over several years Grauer has established himself as one of the most aspiring figures in Germany´s electronic music underground. Not only has he been working for a good few years now with establishing his own label Deep Circus (2010 - 2015) and has released his own craft like the widely anticipated single „The Poem EP“ on Moodmusic, his inimitable style as DJ has also taken him to play  at many clubs around the world, with Gigs in China, Russia, Australia, Colombia, Peru, Indonasia, India and Thailand and nearly whole Europe, always displaying a vast knowledge of music not limited to one particular genre – with his own signiture style always pounding in the background like an undisruptible bass line. He had performances as headliner and as a support for top-acts like Sven Väth, Loco Dice, Carl Craig, Trentemoeller, Andrew Weatherall, and many others.
According to Benny Grauer, residing in Berlin since 2008, the perfect night should feel like a menu assembled by a world-class-chef: „The warm-up serves as Amuse-Gueulle and entrée, main time resembles the main course and the wee hours of the morning should make your stomach tingle like the most incredible Crème Brûlée. Every course needs his own highlights – but you gotta watch out: Nobody digests a Rib Eye for a starter.“

From 2004 till 2012 Grauer managed the bookings of the Club Blauer Turm in Tübingen, South Germany. The Club turned into a notorious platform for many Techno- and Tech-House-Parties to whom Grauer invited guests like DJ Karotte, André Galluzzi, Tobi Neumann, Gary Beck and many others, and set an electronic benchmark in the south of Germany.

In 2013 he founded the STILL HOT booking agency together with his friends and partners Martin Eyerer and Alex Flatner. Beside the three founders, Martin Landsky, Guido Schneider, Gorge, Mihai Popoviciu, Markus Homm and Philip Bader belong to the STILL HOT family. In 2017 STILL HOT launched his own record label as well.

In addition to all his business matters, Benny Grauer has been producing numerous singles and remixes on Labels like Moodmusic, Poker Flat, Parquet, Still Hot, Kling Klong, Circle Music, Blu Fin, JETT Rec., Deep Circus and among others...
