Matt Lally, better known by just his last name, is a London-based drum & bass producer who’s been causing a ruckus since his debut release on Soulvent in 2021, now boasting releases across Hospital, Soulvent and Cardinal Sound’s Archway. He’s garnered impressive radio support across BBC 1Xtra, Radio 1 and KISS from the likes of Sarah Story, Sian Anderson, Rene LaVice and Fred V to name a few. Following on from ‘Love The Way’ released with Lens in 2022, he steps up to the plate this year with a meaty 4-track offering which showcases more of his own developing sound.  

‘Trusted You’ is a vibe-laden liquid roller, complete with languid, moody pianos and emotionally charged vocals. A beautifully uncomplicated vocal track, which deftly intercepts the listener's attention. 

This fried-slice of liquid gold is available from all good stores on Friday the 21st of July 2023.

Joe Syntax delves into Med School’s medicine cabinet to produce a clinical mix of tracks from the label’s back catalogue with 7 super exclusive and previously unreleased tracks for good measure. The digital package includes a total of 33 individual tracks plus the 60minute mix.

‘Medical Mix’ is a seamless panorama of the last six years of the label’s sonic surgery. Impeccable research has meant that Med School has become one of the leading lights in the underground music scene, renowned for bring new artists to the fore and its open-minded, boundary-pushing vision.

Across the 33-track prescription are unreleased VIPs from Enei, S.P.Y, Icicle, Joe Syntax, Royalston and Trisector plus a blinding remix of Unquote’s epic ‘Lubov Moya’ by label friends Blu Mar Ten. Other highlights include cuts from exclusive Med School signings Bop, Unquote, Lung and Joe Syntax plus snapshots from the highly successful New Blood series by artists such as Stray, Synkro, Anile and Eleven8.
