There’s always something special about bringing through new drum & bass talent on the label. The feeling of supporting the next generation of the genre to flourish is something that has always motivated us, and will continue to do so! Our latest release is testament to this drive. Introducing two debutants to the label: Swaz, an up-and-coming artist who has impressed us with his early productions, and Spyda Jr – the son of one of Born On Road’s closest friends, MC Spyda, who is stepping into the D&B world with a swagger in his steps. Together, they enter the label with new single “Southside Resident”, a rolling beat carrying us into the upcoming club season with its catchy melody, hefty bass riff and slick lyricism. The future is looking undeniably bright for our scene.

Dubs have always been an integral part of who we are as a label, and Selecta J-Man is one of the purest purveyors of the culture. His inboxes are flooded with DMs to release the artillery he’s sitting on, and we’re gassed to reveal he’s ready to unleash one of his prized weapons into the world. Introducing “Come With It” – a gargantuan rave missile that’s been causing damage in our sets for some time. This one’s a Born On Road classic you will have heard whipping festival soundsystems throughout summer, and now it’s yours to shell. An artist who never misses with big cuts for the dance – just look at his last solo single on the label, “No Sound Can Test” – Selecta J-Man’s latest release is sure to be another addition to his ever-growing list of huge hitters.
