Before we dive into the latest episode, let's first take a brief look at Lofi Radio and what it offers to its listeners. The show is a music podcast that features a variety of producers, musicians, and artists from around the world. The aim is to showcase the producer in a overview of both new tracks, older tracks and also some work in progress - the vibe is chill and laid-back, with a focus on hip-hop, jazz, and a positive vibe in the community.

A producer that’s been alongside the tribe for a very long time – He is one of the most versatile producers out there, making both smooth beats & jazzy laidback grooves while still able to switch it up to uptempo tracks with inspiration from the house community but also the underground scene of pop & electronic stuff. This song really speaks to desperation for connection in relationships. The relationship is experiencing a love drought. The speaker is calling for rain, essentially saying “for you, I’d do anything, I’d even change who I am because I know that you are what I want. This is what I want.” Although the relationship feels like it’s ending, maybe we could try one last time to change the weather.

I wrote these songs on my acoustic guitar over the years. Some of you may have heard versions of them here on Soundcloud. I realized that what I heard in my head, and the styles/genres the songs wanted to be in were beyond my capability as a musician. So I did two things. I put a band together, and using an online program, I uploaded my lyrics, and entered information as to how the song should sound/feel, what instruments to use, tempo, and mood.  The program  using my lyrics, and information I input created songs. There was a definite learning curve, and a LOT of songs got deleted before I started getting what was in my head recorded! I found another program that transcribed the audio to sheet music so the band could learn the songs. We are now in rehearsal, and I will be singing, playing some sax and flute in our live shows.
