Silent Mind is a deep house track with a deep, steady bass and soft, drifting melodies.

I wrote it to capture that feeling on the dance floor when you stop thinking and just move — when the sound feels like it’s carrying you, almost weightless.

It’s not about perfect structure or flashy drops; it’s about that quiet, shared moment where the music seems to dissolve the space between you and everyone else.

Project Abacus is my way of exploring how human feeling and machine-driven sound can meet — and as technology grows, so does the project.

Who are these guys, you ask? Two supremely talented DJ/Producers from Germany (where else?). Bespoke Musik connected to these fine gents through a mutual friend, Luis Rosenberg, who graced us with his fantastic, thoughtful, intricate, intelligent and thoroughly gorgeous mix last year... Creating a lush, rich soundscape that weaves in and out of various genres with ease throughout this nearly 2 hour mix, Philipp and Max produce what we already consider one of the finest, freshest and most creative mixes we've featured.

Bio:

Both having roots in Western Germany (or Nordrheinwestfalen, if you’re able to pronounce that), Philipp Fein and Max Schmitt found ancient techno Mecca Cologne to be their chosen home. It’s in that city where they started fruitful collaborations with like-minded beings as Johannes Klingebiel, Alma & Mater, and not least... each other. Products of said collaborations are various and colorful, be it music (of course), underground warehouse raves (the most sought after in the city), labels (namely "Ancient Future Now" and "Feines Tier“), or the opening of a new club (which will happen very soon). Keep your ears peeled for them.

Wir sind froh heute unsere weitere Zusammenarbeit mit Simon Rucker verkünden zu können. Nachdem uns sein Inselabenteuer über lange Zeit gut unterhalten hat, steht nun sein neues Projekt in den Startlöchern. Dieses Mal entführt er uns in eine düstere Zukunfts-Dystopie. Wir werden mit ihm gemeinsam eine große und komplexe Welt bereisen, die sich im Umbruch befindet. Eine Welt die von wenigen geleitet wird und in der es denen gut geht, die keine Fragen stellen. Der Prolog der neuen Episodengeschichte wird musikalisch von Thys & Taylor begleitet. Sie greifen die düstere Grundstimmung der ersten Zeilen auf und versetzen uns mit ihrer gekonnten Track Auswahl in die die Gedankenwelt von Samuel. 

Mein Name ist Samuel und dass ich dir diese Nachricht schreibe, ist das letzte, was ich in meinem schwindenden Leben mache. Mein Name ist Samuel und ich sitze hier oben an den Hängen des dunklen Gebirges in meiner Hütte und schreibe eine Nachricht, die dich vielleicht niemals erreichen wird. Ich nenne sie Nachricht Null, denn es gibt nichts mehr zu tun. Die Nacht zieht langsam über die Grate und taucht alle Felsen und Schluchten um die weite Alm herum in ihre trübselige Finsternis. Die wüsten Gestalten werden bald ihre Höhlen und Gruben verlassen, um die wenigen Verbliebenen wieder und wieder heimzusuchen. Und inzwischen weiß ich, es gibt auch noch Schlimmeres.
Draußen am Himmel ziehen vereinzelt Vögel vorbei. Ich weiß nicht, vielleicht ziehen sie schon nach Süden – in der Hoffnung, dort etwas Besseres als hier zu finden. Ein Vögelchen muss nicht viel denken. Ein Vögelchen darf Hoffnung haben. Schimmernd hängt der Dunst über dem Abgrund, es wird allmählich kühl hier drinnen, hinter den dünnen Scheiben aus mit sprödem Moos bewachsenen Glas. Es wird allmählich kühl hier drinnen, Holz für ein Feuer habe ich keines mehr. Ich zünde eine zweite Kerze an mit dem abgegriffenen Benzinfeuerzeug. Und wenn das Ding schon einmal brennt, auch gleich noch eine weitere Zigarette. Es fröstelt mich, bald werde ich mir im anderen Zimmer den Mantel holen und weiterschreiben. Weiterschreiben, bis mir der dünne Bleistift aus meinen schmerzenden Fingern fällt und ich in mir zusammensinke. Falls es den Gestalten der Nacht nicht eher gelingt, meine Barrikaden in den unteren beiden Stockwerken einzureißen und mich mit ihren langen knöchernen Armen aus meiner Schreibstube zu schleifen, um wer weiß was mit mir anzufangen.

After a week of adventures with countless smiles and laughs it was time for me to play at the majestic Cobra Cana stage. For the whole week, this stage was bouncing with energy non-stop. From day one it was building this incredible and unique vibe, something I have never experienced before. It was mental.

The last day that we all saw the Cobra (before they burned the structure) our Peacocks crew consisting of TantRut, Lev Tatarov, Deep Schismic, Joep Mencke, Rammo and the Parallells had the honour to play there and host the last party. And, ohhhh what a party we had. 

Inspired by the light of the stars, the intense energy of the dancefloor, and all the incredible outfits of the people, I felt I was on another planet and so my music.

This Spanish duo is setting their sights high on their way to conquer new musical territories around the world. They started their project together back in 2012 with the intention of showing their own musical point of view to the world, through their elegant melodies mixed with dark sounds, from house to techno passing trought progressive melodies and groovy bases, oriented to the dance floor. After their excellent period on the Berliner  label Steyoyoke , they had released on labels like Diynamic, Noir, Last Night on Earth, Suara, Noir, Click Records, Einmusika Recordings and more. In recent years this Galician couple had been playing around the world taking his sound to the booths of more than 20 countries.
