This is from my second attempt at recording an album on my own in my apartment.  I played a real drum on it with brushes.  I was proud of that.

This is from the last "proper" album I recorded at home.  This song is kind of a departure from the type of songs I had written previously.  I really was excited about it...especially the slide parts.  My buddy Matt played the banjo on it.  The album is called Sidewalk Autumn Nights.

My Biggest Mistake

This is one of the earliest random tracks I did that never ended up on an "album".  I recorded it during a difficult time in my life when I didn't have much by the way of a job.  I was feeling low and you can hear that in the lyrics.  The upside was that I had lots of time to record.  I really enjoyed doing all the electric guitar parts and the backward piano notes at the end.

One time, I wrote two songs in the middle of the night in my basement. I felt prolific for a couple minutes. It only happened once. This is one of those songs.

I've been playing guitar for a long time now.  I've been singing even longer than that.  I've always loved music.  My first cassettes were The Beach Boys and The California Raisins.  I'm good with that, I think.
