This is a deep and rolling track from my 2014/2015 live set, and is a sure-fire hit with the dance floors.  Minimal in composition and careful with the sound selection, 'Implicate' is a slice of hypnotic tech-trance bliss.

I took a particularly 'heavy' approach to the reworking of Stoertebeker's slick tune. Loads of distorted bass and driving tech rhythms combine with the hypnotic melodies of the original to form this dance floor destroyer.

Stoertebeker - Artificial Structures (Ben Rama Remix)

Amsterdam-based psychedelic techno producer Nozem (aka Supergroover) gave the classic Ben Rama tune 'Rooftop Hopping' a serious work-over for the Techgnosis Volume 2 compilation. This phenomenally dance-floor friendly remix remains true to the roots of the original, with much of the melodies remaining fully intact.

German prog-tech wizard Trilingo brings his dance floor focused production sensibilities to his remix of 'Initiate'. This is the 2nd time he's remixed one of my tunes, the first being for the 'Rooftop Hopping' EP released last year on Blind Arc.

Eschewing any semblance of traditional techno formulations in favor of a decidedly contemporary approach, this remix represents what I find to be so compelling about the up-and-coming Toronto duo.

Next Level - PREVIEW

I was asked to contribute to a remix for Australian artist Zimbardy some time ago (originally for Bassic Records). Unfortunately, the young artist passed away unexpectedly and the release never went through. Now with permission from the family, I have the joy of seeing this remix released with my companions at Blind Arc for their inaugural various artists compilation. It was a tremendous privilege to work with Sam before his passing, and I'm grateful that this tune will be able to be shared with the community. Blessings!

This is a remix I did for Toronto-based techno duo Aerodromme, and it's been making the rounds in my live set for over a year now. I did my best to keep the hard and heavy feel of the original, with a rolling bass line added for a bit of that 'psytech' feel. It always does very well with dance floors, and I hope you enjoy it as well!

This is the 3rd and final remix I did based on tracks which were originally released on Techgnosis Vol. 1. The Xenoscapes contribution was a haunting piece of minimal, psychedelic techno, and I wanted to maintain that vibe. This is the result, and I hope you enjoy it!

Here is the recording of my morning set on the main stage at Eclipse Festival 2016. It was a massive honor to be invited to play at this amazing gathering - Eclipse has been my favorite festival since I first attended back in '05, long before I was producing or performing. I chose my deepest tracks for this particular set - perfectly suited for the 7 am time slot. It's a good mix of remixes and originals - I hope you enjoy the journey!

Ben Rama - Live @ Eclipse Festival 2016

This is a remix I did for Luis M's EP on Techgnosis Records, 'Euphoria'.  I had a great time reworking this b-side, and it was a tremendous experience to work with Luis, MYDA and Jossie Telch on something together. I knew the pressure was on to deliver the goods with an impressive artist lineup like that, so I spent a good deal of time on this one. I think it was worth the effort - I also hope you enjoy it :)

The Muggi One did an impeccable job at keeping the vibe of the original, while bringing something wholly new and unexpected to the table. This is a journey into hypnotic progressive realms, with a hint of psychedelia. I hope you enjoy the ride!

I am thrilled to finally share this remix with everyone. Bassic Records is a personal favorite label of mine, having put out some of the most forward-thinking progressive techno in recent memory, and it was a huge honor to be asked to contribute to this release. I'm also joined on remix duties by the super-talented Dylan Carroll, and as well as my Techgnosis Records brethren Luis M (because it's now a running joke how many EPs and compilations we end up on together). I had the pleasure of working with Paul Suares, The Bass To Pain Converter himself, on a couple of releases with Techgnosis last year so it as great to do something with him again. He's one to keep your eye on - this guy is going places with his heavy-hitting and compelling style of techno.

Sydney born Berlin based Bass To Pain Converter forges a new addition for the Bassic Records library. A darkened craft based on part circumstance and part narrative, 'Switch' marks the first B2PC track written since the duo act went solo and relocated to Berlin. A switch in the structure of a musical artist, and a switch to a more traditional music structure - ABAB - for each consecutive drop - verse, chorus, verse, chorus. The powerful energy of 'Switch' is driven by waves of eery thrills formed through war drum percussion perks, distorted vocals and the obscure but perfected kick bass. The EP as a whole is a strong step forward for progressive bush techno, with B2PC and each remixing artist taking the concept and creating their own light. A vast spectrum of interpretation. Psychedelia, industrialism, aphotic atmosphere, deepened release of emotion, all portrayed in the stories of 'Switch' by Bass To Pain Converter, Ben Rama, Dylan Carroll and Luis M.

'The Traveler' is the result of the 1st collaboration between myself and Portugal's MNGRM. I had been working closely with the duo in the lead up to their debut album, and we decided it would be cool to have other Techgnosis artists contribute to a couple of tracks(the other being Luis M). Enjoy this journey into psychedelic (and often melodic) tech-trance  - a perfect blend of the MNGRM and Ben Rama styles!

I am very happy to be presenting my Isle Cosmique set from Timeless Festival 2017. A healthy mix of originals and remixes, this special live recording is representative of my vision for dark, psychedelic techno (at times leaning hard into tech-trance!)

It was a packed dance floor, the vibe was thick and dancers were eager to cut loose. I don't normally play this style out too often, but when I was asked by the organizers to play a 2nd time directly following my main stage progressive set, I jumped at the chance to mix it up a bit with my darker, more psychedelic sounds.

The label debut EP from Portugal-based Floating Machine is a deep and hypnotic affair, with shades of dub-techno, tech-trance and delivered with a mature and confident production aesthetic. As one-half of tech-trance duo Code Therapy, Floating Machine is no stranger to creating captivating electronic soundscapes, and we're thrilled to be working with him on both projects. This EP is backed up by a pair of remixes - one has Code Therapy putting their tech-trance flavored spin on the title track, the other is Floating Machine's interpretation of Ben Rama's classic tune, 'Intuition'.

Last year Muggi Dane invited many of the core Techgnosis Records roster to contribute music to his long-running 'Tech Tales' series (Electric Power Pole), and afterwards approached us with an idea - double down on the cross-label collaboration with a follow up release focusing on artists involved with the original compilation. The 'Blueshift Remixes' EP is the result, and it's a powerful example of the potential of cooperation and building bridges in the scene. More than just a remix EP, this exceptionally diverse, 6 track journey through minimal, progressive and psychedelic techno is an example of the rich, musical tapestry provided by the original piece.

For our next edition of the 'Intersect' series, we are happy to be welcoming Nozem back to the Techgnosis/NOX fold. His interpretations of label artists Ben Rama and Stoertebeker's tracks are distinctly 'Nozem' - he does not shy away from the melodies of each original pieces, yet masterfully applies his own powerful tech trance style. Rounding out the EP is a representation of the incredible MNGRM remix of Nozem's b-side 'Check Your Brain', from the 'Void' EP, which was released last year.
