Seuss' Titles like the Lorax and Yurtle the Turtle and the Butter Batter Book all have left leaning themes-or themes that could be manipulated that way...surprised it was not enough to save him.  Soon they'll turn on Mr. Rodgers too.

Why does Che Rivera get a pass but Dr. Seuss who by the way did not murder anyone get canceled?

Property ownership has to mean something, even if you don't like what the owner does. These "values" that people hold until they don't like the result are a huge part of the problem. I hate that this company did this, but they own the property. It is theirs to do with it as they see fit. If I buy a rare Matisse and use it for kindling, a lot of people would hate me. But it would be mine, and none of their business.

Something tells me that if there had been a character in one of these books called "Shmoo the Jew" or something, Ben might be singing a different tune. Again, hate the decision by this company, but I also hate intellectual dishonesty.

How about we don't ban anything - racist, not racist, Dr. Seuss or "I Am Jazz" - and allow people to make up their own minds?

Shapiro is in rare form in this podcast. When discussing Gina Carano, comparisons to the holocaust were awful and distasteful. Today, this is the same as Germany burning books. Be consistent, Ben! Stop with the "it's bad until we do it" garbage!

The owner of an intellectual property deciding not to make that product available any more, regardless of the reason, is not a violation of your individual liberties. It's not your RIGHT to read "If I Ran the Zoo". And as much as I don't like or agree with this move, there is a difference between "not printing" and "burning". There just is. Hyperbole and hysteria isn't OK because it's a conservative doing it. Trump isn't "literally Hitler", and this isn't book-burning.

Six Dr. Seuss books are removed from circulation; liberals make excuses for newfangled book burning; and Texas and Mississippi reopen.
