Resisting the temptation to over produce this track, I decided to stick with merely the core of what it is: 3 different sounds playing a simple chord sequence.
It's basic, but I'm satisfied that the emotion is there.

I started DJing in 1992 at the peak of the hardcore/rave scene, and later naturally got into the whole nu skool breaks sound also.  Despite mainly writing/producing progressive house, I always wanted to have a crack at something that would throw some respect back to the hardcore/rave/breaks vibe that got me into dance music back in the early 90s. Ben Shaw has been writing and producing music since 1999.

He began as “Sunscape” on Barrie Jamieson’s Fluid Recordings label, before releasing his biggest track “So Strong” feat. Adele Holness on Cass & Slide and Lee Burridge's “Fire” label back in 2001.
Following this, he ran his own label “Kubist”, seeing several vinyl releases.

Today, Ben is releasing music on various top labels, including Sudbeat (Hernan Cattaneo’s label), Last Night on Earth (Sasha’s label), Stripped, Mesmeric, Stellar Fountain, Massive Harmony, Black Hole and many others.

Ben has also works with studio partner Ben Summers as NameSpace, who release music on Stripped Recordings, Pro B-Tech, Endemic, Unrivalled, and more.
They also have a monthly show on Frisky Radio, “Syntax”, which has been featuring on the station for 5 years.
