Another demo track.  it got changed quite a bit for a song on SLOWEARTH'S CONSTRUCT.  Maybe you can figure out which one....

Shaman v1 (Ground Zero)

Shaman v2 (Demo Work)

I made this quick track to showcase the Moog Mother 32 and Moog Moogerfooger MIDIMuRF.  Main track is one Mother32 going through the MidiMurf...you'll hear as I start turning up the Animation Knob at the beginning and then slowly adding effects (delay from Alesis Wedge and reverb from Eventide Space).   Main kick is my other Mother 32 going through Freqbox for grit and then through the moog lowpass filter for finesse.  Main bass line is the Minimoog voyager brass bass that I'm sweeping the filters on.  Other than that, I added the Nord Lead 2 for the bigger reverb'd bass synth and added in some drums I sequenced in logic.  Feel free to ask questions...

MOTHERMURF

Demo for SlowEarth's Judgment Day.  I still like this nugget.  Hardware used Nord Lead 2, Kurzweil K2000, Waldorf Microwave XT.  Softsynths used were the likes of Battery, Ultrabeat, FM8...and a couple others.

I like to create a lot of interludes that can be used between songs for our albums and live shows.  This one never made it because it was so fucking out of place.  But, it always makes me smile when I come across it on my shuffle...it's just so f'n goofy.

CRUCILUDE (Long)

I usually whip up these kinds of intros fairly quick for a show and give room to the band to jam on top of...This one was pretty fun...make it long and simple enough to get everyone a chance and room to find a groove and then keep the samples a bit higher in the mix for added funtimes - particularly when we use a projector for background...

CAGE SHOW INTRO

Created a drone cacophony with my 2 Moog Mother 32s and Moog Voyager XL for background music while I worked.  Set sent LFOs to make the movements.  Recorded a pass and added some drums I programmed in Maschine2 that I went in and cut up.  TADA!

I produce and write music playing synths and bass in my band, SlowEarth along with misc other projects that I get into.  I've set up this account to drop off my noodles and demo work and anything extra I like...but, may not necessarily fit in my other projects.  It's kinda my testing ground and cutting floor.  I'm a gear head, too - and have been on a hardware synthesizer kick for many years...
