Crack Mix 447: TSVI & Loraine James

In the run up to my return to Fabric this weekend, the club have kindly released the audio of my 2015 FABRICLIVE CD for free streaming on soundcloud (The first time it’s been available on any streaming platforms in any form)

The aim with the CD was to create a mix that you could return to & even though its almost eight years old (!) I feel that it still holds it own today 😋

Twelve of the twenty seven tracks were made specifically for the CD and still only exist on this mix (See each track with a * in the tracklist below)

First mix of the year coming from Conor Thomas.

Conor is a member of Boomkat, one of the best vinyl stores worldwide, and the co-founder of Death Of Rave, a label that counts around 50 raw and without any limitation releases. He has been spinning records like a maniac, writing the best “verses”about the music that he digs and hell yeah... he is an amazing selector! The mix is 87-92 UK electro, Latin freestyle, Belgian new beat and early NYC/Euro techno/Proto Goa T sound which he truly loves and kinda follows on from a volume of mixtapes for Reel Torque. Recorded in one take, vinyl-only, in a smoky gooch of Whalley Range... janky bits included.
