My previous version did not age well at all; I believed I could do much better--to the point where I actively resented myself for leaving the track public. With some fixes in the right places, however, I believe I've achieved what I set out to create with this song, and while I wouldn't call it my best work, it's finally something I'm really proud of. HOMICIDAL LUNACY (4000 Followers Special)

Hey everyone! I've got a nice big song for you today. It's been three months since I've done one of those, and 8 months since my last Megalo. Since then, I've started college, which has, of course, taken up much of my time. I recently managed to strike a balance between college, life, and music, and this is perhaps the first song to be finished during that time (it was only 10% complete before). I'm very happy with how it turned out, and I hope you enjoy listening to it!

Fun fact, this song uses a motif from a very old song of mine, tied in with a small part of a motif from one that hasn't been released yet (it's not Maniac's Revenge.) I wonder if anyone can recognize the old one? I highly doubt it!

[Swapfell] Dissension

Classic motifs, familiar instruments, and... a quadruple-tracked guitar??? Yes, it's the definitive version of Maniac's Revenge! The track I started in a Discord call with the original Dusttrust team has come quite a long way, and has become a fan favorite. As many of you know, my last public release for this track was my unfinished WIP for the third version, and I believe it was Nick's MR III--and the incredible work of the folks at Ari's Dusttrust remaster--that inspired me to finish it once and for all. It took a very long time, and with almost 20 hours spent on it, this is the result.

This version contains motifs from many different versions, finished and unfinished. The key of version 1, the intensity of version 2, the chaos of version 3, and motifs from all of them and more. Putting it in the key of MR I not only suits the battle better, but acts as my way of paying homage to the track where it all began. It is my hope that fans old and new, of Dusttrust and otherwise can get something out of this track, and that this track will satisfy those who were taken aback by Dissension's lack of intensity! 8 months since the first concepts, 40 hours spent in the FLP--this has been quite the song to work on! It was one of those songs that became more fun to work on as time went on, instead of the opposite. The process was not rushed, everything flowed naturally, and all of it culminated in this, and I couldn't be prouder.

I've mentioned before how I owe a lot to Dusttrust, with my work for the project having earned me thousands of followers--and hundreds of thousands of plays. 5k is a big milestone, one  that is not crossed often in this community. Slaughter in the Spotlight is my most played song by FAR, and it's been due for an update. I knew that one last update would be an appropriate  marker of this occation. I know it's been a few months since I reached this milestone, but I think this will have been worth the wait.

Darkness envelops the room. You look around in panic--what's happening? Isn't it over? You've just watched your opponent turn to dust, surely the battle is finished? Suddenly, blinding  spotlights switch on. As your eyes adjust, you notice you seem to be on a stage. A figure emerges from the fog, and with a tap of his boot, thunderous music begins to blare from the sound system behind him. The crowd starts to roar: you can recognize the faces of those you've killed among them. It's become apparent that the battle is far from over, but now's not the time  for frustration; you and him have a show to put on, and the audience is craving blood!

[Jerome Fnaftale: Remastered] FREDDYLOVANIA

Anyone remember DROP DEAD? This was essentially my version of the Hurricane Season Megalo, and to this day it remains one of my favorite tracks that I've made. I've updated it twice since its initial release 3 years and 5 days ago, but neither update lives up to the standards of what I want for this song. Despite me saying the previous version would be final, I got to work on one last version in June of 2021 (by coincidence, the second anniversary of the original), and after working for nearly 50 hours across 3 different concepts, I'm proud to present the definitive version of this song, just over a year later.

DROP DEAD: Ballad of the Silent One aims to capture my favorite elements from not just the original DROP DEAD, but also Drop's music, reimagining them in what I believe is my best song yet. I wanted this track to merge our two styles, and I think I managed to pull it off well. You may notice references to some of Drop's greatest hits, such as "Misfortune" and "Our Broken Constellations", but also to some of his other tracks like "A Bit of Wonder" and "Silentman's Court", as well as motifs from the the previous versions of DROP DEAD. Drop was a big inspiration for me in my early days, and as I approach the end of my tenure in this community, I wanted to make some form of a tribute to him and his work. The community certainly wouldn't be the same without him. Here's to you, Brandon!

One element of Drop Dead that stands out on my page is that it's one of the few songs I've done thumbnail art for in every version. I don't do this often, as the only way I can draw digitally is with a mouse in my non-dominant hand. Nevertheless, I created a simple piece for this thumbnail, and I think it turned out nicely. You may also notice the reference to Drop's former Adult Swim-style branding in the title, which I think suits the thumbnail well.

Hey, would you look at that, something that’s not Undertale related! This one is a fanmade song for a magnificent game by a friend of mine. Cantaloper is a Bennett Foddy-inspired platformer in which you must jump your way through two incredibly difficult levels to reach the surface. Those who choose to play it will be forced to master each major obstacle in order to proceed, challenging their patience--and sanity--in the process. This track is based on the songs from the second level and ending, and is designed to evoke the experience of playing through the level, featuring many sound effects that play in-game. If the grunts and other, umm.. noises?.. aren't enough to make you want to download the game, I don't know what is!

Long time no see! It's been over two years since my last communication to you, where I promised imminent uploads. It was my full intention to follow through, however personal complications made this impossible, as I had to focus my full attention elsewhere. I'm quite proud of this one! I attempted to create a unique Distrust Phase 1, and I believe I've done just that. I was originally going to follow the same composition style as Interstellar Retribution, but later decided against it, going for an original composition, featuring both original and Undertale motifs instead. I personally think this is far better than Humerus, that is until it receives an update later in the future ;). For now, please enjoy!

After around 10 months, I'm proud to finally present this update to my most popular track! From when I created it, I never imagined Humerus would become as popular as it did. Despite this, it wasn't long before I was able to look back and see some issues with it. In this 900-1,000 followers special series, there are some tracks like karma II and Drop Dead II that were mostly there due to their significance on my account and to me. Sure, they needed minor updates, but I feel like I probably would have left them alone, at least until next year anyway. This, however, is a different story. I felt that I could really improve this one, and I chose to make a number of changes that I believe make it better than ever before. With that, I hope you enjoy it!

At long last, it's finally here! 3 months and 221 followers late, I present to you my 1,000 followers special. Some of you might be confused as to what this is, so let me explain.

Almost 4 years ago, I uploaded Hunted's Bonetrousle + Megalovania remix on this account. It was the first thing I'd ever uploaded here. To my surprise, it gained quite a bit of traction, and after a while, I ended up privating it. I felt guilty that something that I did not make was gaining attention on my account. It was primarily this feeling that pushed me to begin making music in the first place.

Thus, to celebrate 1,000 followers, I knew I needed to do something special. I decided to put my own twist on this remix, albeit I expected to do it back in October rather than now. I apologize for the delay, and I hope that this track is satisfactory. Given how busy I've been, the quality may be slightly lower than normal, and if that is the case to you, then I am sorry. After doing an original Undertale track for Sans (twice), I figured it was Papyrus's turn. I've always found it strange how he never got a proper genocide fight, especially given how much he trained to become a royal guardsman. While I can't program him a fight, this is the best I can do. Similarly to Karma, the idea for this came to me out of nowhere, but I'm glad it did, because this was a ton of fun to make. I hope you enjoy it.

When uploading Teralovania III, I promised myself I would not update it again unless it aged poorly, and my God it did. I believe I took a wrong approach to the 900-1,000 followers special, updating things that didn't need to be updated, and rushing tracks to get to the 1,000 followers special (which was still three months late). Teralovania fell victim to this, so I decided to do what I did with Drop Dead and make it right. I aimed to make this very different from the previous version, keeping some of my favorite aspects, as well as adding plenty of new ones This is easily the best version of Teralovania, and I believe it is a satisfactory final version. It was a ton of fun to make, and I hope you enjoy listening to it; the definitive version of TERALOVANIA.
