This track signals a departure from the usual melancholy indie songs and pushes the metal agenda to the forefront. Recorded in the Diaz studio between 9/14/14 and 9/16/14 in Diaz studio. Special thanks to drummer extraordinaire John Halicki for drums and arranging. Real Diaz-vocals-guitars-bass.

Indoctrination

This page contains a great amount of circumstantial variety, and so, many of the tracks would be categorized as band efforts, and the complicated process of crediting WHO wrote WHAT ensues. On the other hand, Bellevue is a conceptual entity, primarily pushed forward by me, as arranger, producer, composer, drummer, lyricist and vocalist and many variations thereof. I consider the vocalizations I croak out to be narration, to guide the listener through these little stories and vignettes . . .  so if you hear my voice, know that I’m aware of my limited singing abilities.
Overall, these recordings cover a wide timeframe and thus, varied recording circumstances. The Earthwurm songs (with Carla Buffa on vocals) were recorded (yet never received final mixes) around Los Angeles, at the Record Plant and Mad Hatter Studios; whereas the drum track (for instance) in Pig Juice was recorded in my home studio, while the remaining instrumentation was recorded and mixed elsewhere. Tracks like Clusterfunk and Sputnik are fairly recent, and their structures may be used soon to create new music.
Occasionally a track may appear as the top selection as a measure of distance traveled. I’m constantly searching for new musical opportunities in rock, funk, jazz and my favorite: “not easily categorized.”
