i used pretty much everything in my arsenal to make this. this is not exactly a remix, i used samples from the acapella of A Great Day to synthesize every instrument you hear (with the exception of the cello). i did it by doing tons and tons of processing, trimming, mangling with custom DSPs i programmed, i used my sampler and synth for filtering and extra effects that helped to make the drums and other instruments. The drums alone took around an hour to synthesize to a point where i was happy with them.

the melody was made by sampling a single cycle out of Daeyon's voice, as you can probably tell since it has that vocal characteristic to it.

The snare was made by speeding up the acapella until it was about 2 seconds long, applying lots of DSPs. The clap/hats are the same sample, just pitched to where it matters, the hi hat in question was put through the a3k's fx engine with the jump algorythm, which then i recorded into renoise so i could mess with it some more and rearrange it the way i wanted

Kick was made by selecting single cycle waveforms from Daeyon's voice and messing with their amplitude, plus a layered filter sweep from the ms1 for the transient
