It’s about time the Grammy nominated artist returns to the dance floor with Self Service. Opening with a robust tear jerker, “Cell Site in Somerset” takes up a whole side winding through trance motifs, choral harmonies and slamming percussion. On the flip the energy settles, and slide guitar moves into the spot light. “Marigold Mix” ebbs and flows in density and momentum, chalked full of understated builds and breakdowns. Rounding the 12 out “Self Service” starts with no intention of ending. Dance Music at its most blissful.

@roza-terenzi  is the latest convert to the Kalahari Oyster Cult, the Australian producer debuts with four tracks showcasing her unique sound. Influences come from far and wide, shifting between electro, house, techno and even early rave anthems. The space bleeps of “Gigi” are soon interrupted by shouldering kick drums. Samples stagger and stumble before key stabs cut through beats in this hazy piece of early morning elation. “Mwah” maintains those euphoric moods. Snapping snares slice through shimmering synthwork and soaring strings to keep the night grooving. Darker tones enter with “Rare High”, but these shades are soon brightened by arcing notes. Acid lines squeak and squirm in this balancing act of disparate colours and chords. Distant lands and exotic encounters are conjured for “Soft”, perfumed percussion and meandering melodies mingle and merge for head swimming close of aromatic audio.”

Will DiMaggio steps up in our second hour, with his debut album "At Ease” arriving via Future Times earlier this month, he delivers a mix that builds expertly through hazy hip hop and broken beat and onto the club dance floor. Describing the mix he told us, "I like to start off with cuts that I've found recently and are of the area -- NJ rap, Frankie Cutlass. The remainder are records I packed for gigs in Tokyo and Vancouver last month, a bit darker with an emphasis on rhythm and groove.”
