A project unveiled for the first time last summer, Solid Grooves' 'Raw Grooves' series welcomed the first-ever Various Artists project on sister label Solid Grooves Raw, and in the process introduced a slick selection of grooveheavy, stripped back yet powerful cuts from some of the label's core family members and closest friends.

Now back for its second installment, early-May sees label favourites Eddy M, Blackchild (ITA), and Ramin Rezaie joined by a wealth of leading names and rising talents as they welcome UK hotshot Latmun for his label debut, South Coast duo Prok | Fitch, who step out on sister label Raw for the first time following their huge single 'Indiance', recent Solid Grooves debutant Wheats, returning Manchester-based talent Kreature, and fast-rising London pairing, Antss and Ash-R.

Our next release comes from Kenpo Records frontman Antonio Grassia as he makes his NoZzo Music debut with two blistering Tech House heaters. We also call in fellow countrymen Proudly People on remix duties for 'Thursday'.

Kicking things off, the title track 'Thursday' rolls on in with intent and vigour. Laced with Funk-inspired sampling and soulful licks, its blend of perpetual drums and crisp perc construction brings an energetic terrace-ready feel. Subtle harmonies and progressive grooves build throughout the track, keeping you in a stir from end to end.

Hammering in their unmistakable sonic individuality, Proudly People come to the table with a punchy remix of 'Thursday' that will have you on your toes. Chugging grooves and sizzling hat sequences rebound off layers of instrumental constructions, carving out a punchy and movement-invoking peak time cut with limitless energy. 

The release closes on 'Pittino', a driving Tech House stomper with more high-octane Funk & Soul influence. A contrasting balance of potent and raucous main segments - crammed with danceable drum work and movement - and creative solo builds, centring around wildly creative sampling arrangement and climactic peaks. Another standout record with a big-room feel!

Franklyn Watts heads to House Keepers Records with ‘Movimiento’, accompanied by remixes from MEEN and Dre Mendez & Caleb Dent.

An emerging name within Los Angeles’ house scene, Franklyn Watts has quickly gained a wealth of supporters ranging from The Martinez Brothers and Jamie Jones to John Summit and Eli Brown, dropping material via the likes of DIRTYBIRD, CUFF, Clarisse and Too Many Rules. Up next, he heads to Orlando-based imprint House Keepers Records for the first time as he drops his latest two-track EP ‘Movimiento’, backed by remixes from MEEN, Dre Mendez & Caleb Dent.

Title cut ‘Movimiento’ showcases the LA talent at his best as he weaves organic grooves and infectious vocal interjections to reveal a snaking terrace anthem, before MEEN’s remix welcomes a playful take as he produces a drum-fuelled journey accented by bright melodies. Next, ‘Un Problema’ fuses punchy kicks and rumbling low-ends with further vocal work and sharp synths, before Dre Mendez & Caleb Dent combine to close proceedings with a
driving take armed with harsh metallic tones and sharp hats.

We're back to bring you what's going to be playing in the coming months. "DOWN OK" will be the must have EP in your library after a long line of consolidated hits. Angel Heredia continues to be our visionary, setting the baton in the style, and now as in previous productions, he has another successful producer who will also delight your ears. Manu Fuentes is a young promise born in 1993 who started his musical career at the early age of 13. His style is based on Tech House sounds with powerful bases, some old school touches and brilliant percussion.


The track "DOWN OK", slides from a fluid base that accompanies minimalistic sounds entering through your ears and diluting in the swing of a hypnotic dance. So magical is the high that you'll surrender to the demands immediately. Angel is on top form knowing how to take the dancefloors to their maximum capacity with this combination of sass. Our new friend Manu, brings his vision of "DOWN OK" into a sphere where the base brings up the BPMs adding a touch of power to this track.
