bepo - No Place For Us EP on Sumpfkrug 🐌

Bepo and fireworks first met in a rave context and quickly realized that they could learn a lot from each other to get closer to their dream of releasing their own music. Started with the first Ep "Das leben rennt voraus" where Fireworks produced two lovely tracks and bepo contributed a hot remix, they've now teamed up and created the "@kg-aufbau" in the year 2021. Now the time has come to release their first single "Naked People". The track combines happy melodies with the melancholic touch that is inherent to both of them. We hope you enjoy this tune as much as we do and will keep you updated about new stuff that is coming for sure!

Hellooo und welcome back! Lang haben wir gefroren, lang wollten wir erst garnicht aus den Federn, aber jetzt ists endlich soweit, der Frühling ist genau wie wir erwacht und bringt frische Lebenslust mit. Passend dazu hat unser Lieblings-Daunen-Duo @kg-aufbau uns nen passenden Start in den Vormittag des Jahres serviert.

1. Hast du eine Morgenroutine, und wenn ja, wie sieht diese aus?
@bepo_daune : ich plane morgens unter der Woche wenig Zeit ein , deswegen gibt’s da nicht viel. Am ehesten ein Glas Wasser exen. Am liebsten aber weiterschlafen 
@fr_wrks : Ich stelle meinen Wecker jedes mal so knapp, dass ich froh bin, wenn ich noch genug Zeit für ein schnelles Frühstück habe. Wie soll ich da noch Zeit für ein Ritual haben? 

2. Hast du ein musikalisches guilty-pleasure? 
@bepo_daune :Bent - kisses, soo schön cheesy 😇
@fr_wrks : Wenn ihr beim hören der Aufnahme gaaaaanz aufmerksam zuhört kommt ihr vielleicht selbst drauf, was mein Guilty Pleasure sein könnte 😉 (sorry not sorry mart <3)


3. In welchem Genre warst du als Teenie zuhause? 
@bepo_daune : Viel hip hop, dann drum n bass
@fr_wrks : Ich hab damals eigentlich nur sowas wie Rise Against, Sum41, Muff Potter, Turbostaat etc. gehört, also vielleicht so Punk mit Emo (haha) einflüssen?

Dieses Producer Duo fand sich 2021, schaltet und waltet in Halle und hat seither zahlreiche Clubs sowie Festival- und Open Air Locations bespielt. Für ihr KataHaifisch Debüt wird es trippy, verträumt und schunkelig. Feinste Midtempo-Power umgarnt die strapazierte Seele. Mit diesem Set wird regeneriert und die persönlichen Ressourcen wieder aufgefüllt.

KataHaifisch Podcast 415 - KG Aufbau

Wie immer sind wir nicht die allerschnellsten, aber dass das Set jetzt 3 Wochen nach der Party kommt ist – finden wir – total im Rahmen. 
Die ein oder andere Ecke musste nämlich noch abgeschliffen werden. Wer hätte denn vorher niemand ahnen können, dass es Störgeräusche aus den Synthesizern gibt, so ganz ohne Soundcheck, wir sind halt eben Profis, lol 🫠

Anyway, wir sind nach wie vor sehr beseelt davon, wie viele von euch schon zur ersten Kick auf der Dänce standet ❤️‍🔥🪿

Das hat uns auf jeden Fall darauf gemacht, dass so oder so in der Art demnächst nochmal zu versuchen, dann vielleicht sogar ohne Anlaufschwierigkeiten oder technischen Quark

As usual, we're not the quickest, but the fact that the set has now arrived 3 weeks after the party is - in our opinion - totally acceptable. 

One or two rough edges still had to be sanded down. Who could have guessed that there would be noise from the synthesisers without a sound check, after all, we're professionals, lol 🫠

Anyway, we're still very inspired by how many of you were already standing on the Dänce for the first kickdrum ❤️‍🔥🪿

This has definitely made us want to repeat this or something similar in the near future, perhaps without any difficulties or technical nonsense
Have fun listening to it again or for the first time 💃

🎵 Zhart & Tonda did a remix for Schwarm. It’s a track with a lot of organic sounds, especially percussions. They glued a panned lead together and the whole vibe becomes a bit trippy. The groove flows naturally, drawing you deeper into its hypnotic rhythm. Always that signature Schwarm feeling and still a joy to listen to.

Uff, tysm to everybody involved in making @tarmac-festival such a special place. those late-summer weeks on the airfield always feel like christmas and our birthdays coming together. big love goes out to y'all

bepo's shift into music production came when he moved to Halle, where he digged deep into the (dance)floor to discover a flourishing underground scene. His fascination with electronic music ignited early, driven by getting lost and delving into previously unknown soundscapes.
He has embraced the art of letting go of control and experiencing liberation in the process.
Influenced by artists such as Iorie, Frida Darko, Cabaret Nocturne and Damon Jee, bepo's musical journey has settled into a slow rhythm where intricate threads of light and darkness weave their way through his scratchy sonic rug - a fusion of bouncy melodies and chugging rhythms.
The release of the widely recognised Chironji EP on Serafin Audio Imprint marked bepo's breakthrough, revealing a profound realisation of music's ability to touch ears and hearts.
Looking ahead, bepo is excited to release heaps of new music, driven by a desire to share his evolving style with the world.
