Expect a healthy offering of drug chug, deep cuts from the Razormaid catalog, uplifting vocal house bangers, and everything in-between.

Over the years I've bumped into John here and there, all over the place. At one point, by chance, I even worked on an IT project with him, we never actually spoke, and I can only remember John being the guy who wore the large fancy headphones (probably an early sign of his passion for music). We'd continue to cross paths on those niche Facebook music groups too ('Rotation' for example). 

When we were opening Waxflower, he stuck out in my mind as someone who'd be great to have play through their no-doubt thoughtful collection. I knew he had spent time in Brazil and we'd talked about Bossa Nova collections, so I'd only hoped that we'd get to here worldly and carefully selected gems. That's exactly what happened! John has a truly wonderful trove of music, and this brilliant mix only begins trek his long path of digging.

Surfing in with rhythmic waves of Brazilian Bossa Nova, slowing it down into street soul-esque jams, and picking the tempo back up to close things out – There are only jams here, with Portuguese vocals and musing melodies trending through the whole mix.
