Il se jouait à la russe
Bravant sa roulette
Se cherchant des plus
En laissant les miettes.
Il écœurait de sentiments
Surtout pas de haine
Aux injustices seulement
En vivant dans la peine.

Il se prenait des interdits
Qui grilleraient son temps
Sans se trouver maudit
Pour rêver en plus grand.
Il traînait son ombre
La suivant par derrière
Les regards de ce monde
Pas bien fait pour lui plaire.

La poudre blanche, retrousser la manche
Et quand bien même, ceux qui en prennent
Il n’y aura plus, depuis le début
Aux artifices, que la fin de triste

Il mettait ses oeillères
Pour aller tout droit
En courant vers l’enfer
Qu’il espérait moins froid.
Ce n’est la peur au ventre
Qui le ferait partir
Aux ténèbres impatientes
Mais pourquoi vouloir en finir?

Il se riait des sorts
Dans tous leurs tirages
Taquinant la mort
Qu’elle vienne avant l’âge.
Dans les méandres des rues
Malfamées de racailles
Il s’était tout juste perdu
Mais fallait-il qu’il s’en aille?
