Thank god for a beautiful new day!

This is not the way things should be and we all know it. Various things can inspire a song, including anger and sadness as in this case.

If you notice strange chattering noises in the background, I didn't notice these at the time of recording. It turns out these were angry Magpies in the tree outside my house, chasing off my cat - who later needed rescuing from the same tree because he is a cat of little brainpower. Angry voices seemed appropriate, so I left the recording as it is.

While The Dark Queen held court as stated before, this man walks into her court. She is baffled As this Man is brought to the throne... She recognizes him!! He attempts to remind her who he really is. She Knows this man. But he never knew her at All. He only Knew her as a muse to him always in the shadows ..The Dark Queen turns sad and cold..  She turns away for a moment with a slight tear in her eye. Remembering the Past..... Stay tuned to be continued!!!!

It started out innocently enough: "What could I write for piano at 180 bpm?" Then I started playing around with my voice tone using a popular plugin. So why not add a sub-bass track to test out my new speaker? After many bells and whistles later and massive editing cuts, one gets a frantic two minute track, not to be confused with Mozart's Minute Waltz. :-)Perhaps this reflects being stuck in my house for a couple months. Two Minute Workout

Two months ago I fell over, a simple loss of balance and crushed my right wrist - at the same time this virus caused me and most of the world to seclude ourselves - and I couldn't play my piano. My cast and splint are off but there is healing still to do. Finally, this week I sat down to play - painful, but that is life.  In my seclusion I met a woman online in pain from a broken knee and a broken life. She lives in New York. Everyone has their own pain to live with. We are not alone, even when we feel alone.  Everything I record has a reason.  In the music is the emotion of her story. I recorded this music for her.  

It is now time for me to get my life back. My immune system is suppressed. I have rarely left my house since Feb. I teach my students over video chat. The world is different now and we don't know where it is going. That will be the story of my upcoming music.
