When you're talking about techno, few names have been innovating and evolving as much as Robert Hood. When he's not running things over at M-Plant, he can be found touring the festival circuit with his live show and releasing tonnes of fresh new material.

Today we concentrate on his more melodic alias and under the name Floorplan, Hood has released a stunning album showcasing a slightly different yet equally strong sound.

A new EP is set to drop featuring two re-edits of tracks that appeared on his Floorplan album 'Paradise'. 'Phobia' and 'Never Grow Old' have been given a special Re-Plant and we have the premiere of the latter.

Mark Reeve presents his second release on Drumcode, ‘Run Back’, a four track EP crammed with heavy hitting kick drums and his signature big basslines. The dark sounds and heavy textures are typical of Reeve and he’s showing no sign of slowing down yet. Four tracks of brooding techno, this EP is one not to be missed.

Jason Fernandes takes us into the deep. Jellyfish is the A side in his latest offering of twisted, deep techno. Lead hooks play in a floating and darker setting whilst contrary to this, the crisp production and clean heavy hitting lows power through. On the B side, Trenches provides a complimentary feel almost as an after thought, perhaps falling into the more ambient and chilled range in Fernandess techno productions. In the deepest of depths, the synths and pads float effortlessly with the current in both of these pieces, the murky yet rolling rhythms, hypnotising, provoking energy and movement out of the blue.
