Sometimes in elementary school they have a bell or something that will capture everyone's attention and let them know it's time to settle down, it's like a Pavlovian response. I also wanted to use this singing bowl I had, so I pitched the song around it! (see if you can guess the wind instruments)

Same as the previous track, but the emphasis is on the transitionary 2 bar phrase that takes us up a couple dozen BPM and a semitone... no pressure :D

The final challenge. I'm proud of my creative process on this one so I'll share it:

A leader is clapping a rhythm for a group of youngsters to repeat (perhaps a minigame?) Eventually, that ONE kid - you know the one - decides to slam down on the piano. This instrument is for teacher ONLY. Is this kid bored of doing rhythms? Is this chaos a means of "saving face" because the rhythms are too hard? Who knows... but now the group has to try to coax him back to join them!

#7DaysofVGM @VGMAcademy Day 6 - Monsters Beneath the Ocean. I hate deep-sea creatures.

It's in 13/8, and the "melody" is in tritone and semi-tone harmony throughout. I tried to make it as alien sounding as possible.

Oh ya, and I guess the piano is reminiscent of Jaws which is cool!
