BRUECKE #2 | Marcus Meinhardt | Berlin APR 2023

VALE aka diladï is a Berlin-based techno and downtempo dj. Whilst combining dreamy, hypnotic melodies with a driving beat, deep and dark basslines; creating tension is always part of her storytelling. No matter what set she is playing, she is always taking you on a roller coaster.
Whilst growing up in the German capital of techno, this influence of music, rave culture and lifestyle shaped who she became until today. Having had a musical education since early childhood, she always dreamt about making the crowd dance and moreover creating electronic music at some point. Thus she started getting acquainted with DJ'ing and formed the techno collective "Krach vom Fach“ in 2020. Together with the "Krach vom Fach"-crew, underground raves came into being. 
 
Since then she has played in various clubs & bars, at festivals & raves, in Germany, Austria and Greece. At last, as diladï she found a new artist family within the Mystic Tales. However, sometimes her darker, faster side pushes through; as VALE she has an output for her love of dark melodic/peak techno and psy-tech.

Was für ein unglaublich schönes Festival das Fuchsrudel in der Eifel auf die Beine gestellt hat! Wir sind immer noch ganz von den Socken von der schönen Location und den unglaublich guten Vibes von Sonntag.
Ein riesen großes DANKESCHÖN an all die Tänzer und Tänzerinnen, die so fleißig die Hüften bis zum krachen haben kreisen lassen und mir so viele tolle Energie mitgaben!
Vielen Dank auch an Nessa, Lena, Tamer & den Rest des Fuchsrudels, die all das ermöglicht haben und mich so herzlich in die Runde eingeladen haben.

A very rare closing set played b2b by the BergWacht founder, Liho, and Max Keck at Odonien Cologne at the end of May. It was truly their first b2b set in 15 years.

In 2008, Denis Lihotzky and Max Keck noticed a void in the Cologne underground music scene. So the two friends decided to start a project with the aim to fill that void: to provide Cologne with a regular event, which focuses on Melodic Techno. As an ode to their homeland, the Oberbergischer Land, they named their event Bergwacht or “Mountain Rescue”, and began to host parties once a month in Cologne’s Artheater. Denis “Liho”, who not only manages its bookings, but is also Bergwacht’s resident DJ, programs each event with an eye for upcoming talent and an ear for extraordinary music. Bergwacht’s guest DJs continue to attract a loyal and energetic audience, and by 2012, Bergwacht has become an important part of the Cologne underground Techno scene. Continuing to follow their passion, in September of 2012, the Oberbergischer troupe launched Bergwacht Records as an outlet to curate and present the music they love most, “Melodic Techno”. Their debut release features Max Keck and his longtime friend and collaborator Sven Kirchner as Tool..8 with remixes by Lanny May and Boss Axis. Bergwacht releases will be available on Vinyl and as digital download. Open your ears and let Bergwacht rescue you.
