Nora was born in Essen and raised in a small town near Münster in North Rhine- Westphalia. After her studies – amongst others for three years in Australia – and a short two year working experience in Luxemburg she finally moved to Cologne in 2017.

Art has always been fascinating to Nora. She started to paint since she has been 14, she has been dancing since she was able to listen to music and in 2016 she fell in love with Techno. In 2020 she finally started to turn the tables.

Nora loves art that makes her smile even on the rainiest day. Her paintings are as colorful and bright as her Sets. They come with a great variation within the melodic techno genre, bouncy tech house such as Criminal Bassline or Heinz Music and deep and dark techno such as Jaw Dropping, Jannowitz, Subios, Phobos, Terminal M or AlpaKa MuziK.

Nora loves the sound of Karim Alkhayat and Anahit Vardanyan. Their hard and at the same time epic and dramatic&touching peaks are exactly what she likes. Also the kinky style of Joseph Disco and Daniel Jaeger are just her style.

Brazilian / German musician and producer Luíz Sabema gathered his musical and social experiences in three different countries, going through Seattle Punk Rock, Melodic Core, Indie Rock, Electronic Pop and Techno. 15 years ago, he started playing on bigger stages as the frontman of the Electro Rock band .computer.., toured in Germany, Switzerland and Austria while recording many artists in between.
Today he is part of the Wilde Möhre Family and the sound of his DJ sets is a deep and progressive mix filled with all kinds of emotions.
In this Möhrecast he gives us a very personal insight into his love to melodies, harmonies and a large palette of musical genres.

Unser kleines Geschenk zum Jahresabschluss für euch: EIN HENNEBERGSCHER SILVESTERKRACHER!

Getreu unserem Motto: „Künstler:innen, die wir lieben & Musik, die uns verbindet" beenden wir das etwas andere Jahr mit einem Set von Andreas Henneberg. Zu seiner Person müssen wir nicht mehr viel sagen. Typischerweise ist er irgendwo zwischen Techno, Minimal und House angesiedelt und durch seine Gabe verwandelt er seine Sets zu symbiotischen Sprüngen zwischen den Genres. Henneberg gehört seit einer halben Ewigkeit zu unseren Lieblingen und verzauberte uns zuletzt mit seinem Sandpalast-Opening 2019 auf dem Feld der Ehre. 

Lasst die Korken knallen & dreht eure Anlage auf!

Andreas Henneberg - KLANGCAST #005

In 2008, Denis Lihotzky and Max Keck noticed a void in the Cologne underground music scene. So the two friends decided to start a project with the aim to fill that void: to provide Cologne with a regular event, which focuses on Melodic Techno. As an ode to their homeland, the Oberbergischer Land, they named their event Bergwacht or “Mountain Rescue”, and began to host parties once a month in Cologne’s Artheater. Denis “Liho”, who not only manages its bookings, but is also Bergwacht’s resident DJ, programs each event with an eye for upcoming talent and an ear for extraordinary music. Bergwacht’s guest DJs continue to attract a loyal and energetic audience, and by 2012, Bergwacht has become an important part of the Cologne underground Techno scene. Continuing to follow their passion, in September of 2012, the Oberbergischer troupe launched Bergwacht Records as an outlet to curate and present the music they love most, “Melodic Techno”. Their debut release features Max Keck and his longtime friend and collaborator Sven Kirchner as Tool..8 with remixes by Lanny May and Boss Axis. Bergwacht releases will be available on Vinyl and as digital download. Open your ears and let Bergwacht rescue you.
