After producing a experimental electronic music since 1997 it is now about bringing together forgotten ties and marking unmarked spaces. Known as Berk Offset, as a part of the Cannibal Cooking Club duo since more than two decades or as founder of the Wakkler vinyl label it is time to discover the own roots, the core of machine funk, the essence of the personal fascination of techno music and its often very simple structures and raw elements. Waves for the basement, the place where it started.

dear mates,
just want to share a mix i made with vinyl (1956-2005), cd and sampler i think end of 2005 for "kinder der nacht" and which still means a lot to me. it was released in 2006 on kdn and is still shakin up some brains as i got told, hehe. as i remember the plan was to do something different than i normaly do under my error moniker, because this one is standing for a bit harder stuff. but as you will hear it is not hard, but tricky offset fehlerfunk ;)

A bit more straightforward but nontheless a pretty cool result I think. The beats work, the synths work, the Malevolent delivers a beautiful arp and the Moog Sub37 can do these raw drones.

Alex Kork recorded live at the Snork Enterprises Floor at the UNDERtheGROUND - Party Mania at Giessen´s MuK club. Unfortunately 15 minutes are missing of the set as the recorder fall down due to the rocking crowd which crashed the DJ desk...Anyway, that´s real live stage feeling! Thanks to Alex and 9 Volt Music for the great party.
