Berlin Nucast 04 comes up with another big one of the last two years: GOOD GUY MIKESH & FILBURT (Permanent Vacation, Liebe*Detail, Compost). Both are music lovers at all. Two independent acts that met in Leipzig and began to merge their musical creative capacities two years ago. A convolution of disco, pop and house, propagating one of Leipzig's most promising collaborative developments.
 
Good Guy Mikesh has haunted Leipzig's contemporary underground for a long time. From the beginning of his musical career, his singles (published on Lebensfreude Records, Broque.de & Ki-Records) have signified an eclectic mix of pop, soul and disco. Filburt - Dj, record store owner and Leipzig club scene veteran, was consequently Good Guy Mikesh's best possible accomplice in the mission to break fresh ground.

A few great releases over the last years, including such amazing tracks like "MILK & HONEY" on LIEBE*DETAIL or the Remix for MARBET ROCEL´s "LOVE ME" on COMPOST, speaks for itself.

Berlin Nucast 04. Good Guy Mikesh & Filburt (Permanent Vacation / Liebe*Detail / Compost )

Berlin Nucast 09 comes up with a secret weapon from amsterdam: DETROIT SWINDLE (SAINTS & SONNETS, DIRT CREW REC.).Detroit Swindle consist of Lars Dales and Maarten Smeets, 2 guys that, without actually growing up together, have had practically an identical musical upbringing. A vibrant mix of Motown-soul, funk, hiphop and jazz inspired them from an early age on and after a varied exploration through techno and house, they met each other by mutual interest in Detroit inspired deephouse.

Detroit Swindle have a clear vision on the music they produce and play. Their productions are best described as contemporary interpretations of classic soul tracks with melodical grooves, jazzy chords and bumpy bass-lines. With their ‘Starvin EP’ on Saints & Sonnets, 
they place themselves amongst highly acclaimed artists like Roman Flügel, Ethyl and Huxley. The second EP called "Nothing Else Matters" comes out on Dirt Crew in April 2012. They are currently working on several remixes and releases, and are experimenting with their DJ/live performance.

Berlin Nucast 09. Detroit Swindle (Saints & Sonnets / Dirt Crew Rec.)

After a long summer break we´re back with BERLIN NUCAST 11 and another still secret talent: SELLO (MOODMUSIC, NEOVINYL RECORDINGS, WAZ WAZI MUSIC)

Born in Düsseldorf, Germany, SELLO started being interested in music early in his life. In 2003 he celebrated his kick of as DJ. Two years later, he started producing his own tracks, as well.
Meanwhile SELLO is accepted and recognized in the house scene as a mastermind of deep and soulful music. 
Proving his skills with releases on NEOVINYLl, WAZI WAZI and MOODMUSIC, SELLO is showing that he's not just another deephouse kid. Recently he even got requested by the legendary COMPOST BLACK LABELl to remix one of their upcoming vinyl releases. 

So keep your eyes and ears open for SELLO.

In our love to music and the daily exploration in new aspects in music and DJing, we decided to keep good things up, for all those, they are not able to have such a great experience in music everyday.
