Wrote this one working in Pittenweem as a songwriter. I interviewed a guy called Davey Anderson who had built and worked on boats all over the world. He said he never felt trapped anywhere; if there was a boat he could work his way home on it; if there wasn't he would build one. I envied him.

Berlin Ballroom is a project by Berlin Jazz musician and producer Volker Schlott and Hamburg based songwriters Detlef Kühn and Maria Sieren.
The CD Never Stop Dreaming was released in April 2013.
Twelve songs and one instrumental for people who believe in the power of  dreams: soulful, stylish, timeless. "Songs of love and hope for mournful hearts." 
Never Stop Dreaming presents sophisticated pop with elements of jazz, chanson, soul, gospel and Scottish folksong. And with tributes to Nat King Cole ("Fairyland") and Cole Porter ("Make Life a Song Sung by Yourself"). 
Berlin Ballrooms motto comes from songwriter Irving Berlin: "You have to have a heart. if you write with a heart you can't fail."
