Nice underground techno, raw and hypnotic!

Initially inspired by the subcultural scene of his hometown of Lübeck, the young artist was strongly influenced by the predominant sound of the Leipzig techno scene. Especially the infamous Institut fuer Zukunft and its hypnotic and dissociative sound significantly formed his
distinctive style and quickly paved his way into the local scene.
Over the years his sonic palette grew and now reaches from soothing ambient and downtempo to dark and dissociative contemporary techno.

In 2017 Kontinum co-founded the collective Nebula and, after organising their first raves, the collective quickly found its way into Leipzig's club scene and managed to establish its own event series at Institut fuer Zukunft.

In addition to managing most of Nebula's musical affairs, Kontinum continues to steadily enhance his own remarkable sound which can already be listened to on his releases on labels such as The Gods Planet, Lowless and Agos.

BIO:
One of the most characteristic and experienced Dj’s in Poland. Born, raised and living in center of Warsaw. He began his active interest in electronic dance music by visiting the cult club Filtry, and quickly (from 1993) started to perform as a dj (then as DJ MIC) on legendary parties in clubs Alfa, Hybrydy and Trend. In 1995 he travels to Berlin to buy vinyl records for the first time. Inspiration from that city has a major influence on the course of his further musician path.
Since then he performed regularly in every major Warsaw clubs and places connected with spontaneous and uncontrolled dance. 
Beside playing in Warsaw, he often and regularly was invited to perform in the best clubs and festivals acros Poland. 
He has also played abroad Poland on the Boomerang festival in Bratislava in Slovakia, took part in Red Bull Academy in Dublin in 2000 and played on the Techno Parade in Paris, in Berlin Kreuzberg and in underground places of London’s Shoreditch.
Mic played with most of the top Polish dj’s and supported many international dj’s like: Jeff Mills, Miss Kittin, Dave Clarke, Dj Koze, Tiga, Daniel Bell, G-Man, Robag Wruhme, Ivan Smagghe, Pacou, DJ Hell, Magda, Oliver Ho, Funk D'Void, Mike Grant, Regis, Simian Mobile Disco, Lee Van Dowski, The Hacker, Mario Neugebauer, Damon Wild, Cosmin TRG, Highfish, Tiefschwarz, Ada, Mike Dehnert, Zombie Nation, Redshape, Dave The Hustler, Tobi Neumann, Fillipo "Naughty" Moscatello, Joel Mull, Agoria, L.A. Williams, DJ Rolando, Phil Kieran, Portable, Alex Kid, Christopher Just, Steve Bug, David Carretta, Dj Koze, Carl Craig, Joris Voorn, Azari & III, Surgeon, Vitalic, Gus Gus...
Besides playing, Mic supported the scene with articles and reviews for magazines like Plastik, Techno Party, Kaktus, Laif, Fluid or Aktivist.  When Mic plays, he likes to surprise and energize the public. He doesn’t limit himself to particular style by choosing the most interesting dance tracks from many music styles (techno, electro, acid house, electronic body music, minimal, dance punk rock, neo disco and other dance music hybrids). He uses them to express the most wide range of human emotions, invariably taking care of moving the dancefloor. His head, mind, body and soul are always on the pulse of the beat.

The Polish born artist’s ear for dark grooves and emotive electro has enabled ona:v to carve out a path as a DJ in Edinburgh whilst working as a scientist by day. Founder of the female and non-binary collective EPiKA, the sisu resident curates a bi-monthly party called CiRCLE, where she books female and non-binary names from the harder side of electronic music.

Our #17 is made by Hang Aoki, mainstay at ://about blank. Her musical style is melodic-energetic to dark and punchy, influenced by Techno, Electro, Industrial and EBM. 
From the first seconds you feel her melange, her diversity. Futuristic tunes, slight by slight, speed up to shake our bodies more n more. There is always a crispy and glommy atmosphere in the set. The middle part is filled with dubby and dry elements to breath after that fulminant start. Hang exhales with harder techno to nice melancholic tracks.

The last bang of 2022 with Black Mirror Park, our #18. He's been a founding member of Sonntagsinstitut Collective, a crew that works on the intersection of club culture, electronic music and politics and has been hosting a radio show, curating a label and throwing parties. 
The podcast dives in smoothly with warm and dubby tunes, crackling elements and a lot of pace give 'em a lot of groove. His selection is excellent, his signature always part of the set. The second half comes with more density and pressure.
Black Mirror Park delivers a perfect match of Tribal Techno with great melodic sections - a pleasure experience at the end of the year.
