Bermudian Jonathan Frith captured this wonderful song with the true feeling of a DAD talking to his young boy as he puts him to bed. BEAUTIFUL BOY is a wonderful John Lennon song wriiten in Bermuda in the summer of 1980. It is truly fitting to have another of the "VON FRITHS" sing this in a truly emotive manner. This is a song for all Fathers and Mothers as they put the kids to bed at night. Produced by Paul Muggleton.

Rachel Brown is no stranger to Bermuda. Her dad is a Bermudian and her mother an Ethiopian. Rachel is well know to Chewstick and has performed in Bermuda several times. 
WATCHING THE WHEELS is one of the songs off John Lennon's DOUBLE FANTASY, the album concieved and namd in Bermuda in 1980. 

FELIX TOD (Heather Nova) has beautifully produced this track and it is exquisitely sung by Rachel with an almost "sitting aroung the camp fire feel". It truly is great. The vocals were recorded in New York and the rest was recorded at Heather Nova's SOLAR POWERED studio on a small island off the main island of Bermuda.

Rachel Brown is a singer, songwriter and musician of Ethiopian and Bermudian descent, born and raised in New York City. With her guitar and ukulele, and accompanied by her talented band of African musicians, Brown fuses pop, Caribbean, Hawaiian, country, hip-hop and world sounds into a captivating groove.
Brown, who graduated with honors from Harvard University in 2010, opened for the likes of Mary J. Blige and Robin Thicke at Bermuda’s National Stadium and John Legend and Quincy Jones at the 2009 Bermuda Music Festival. Brown’s music also caught the ear of one of her favorite musical influences, Wyclef Jean. Less than a week following her graduation from college, the singer received a surprise when Jean brought her up on stage to perform an impromptu duet of Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song” at an iMentor fundraiser.
Brown was the 2010 recipient of the prestigious ASCAP Foundation Robert Allen Award for songwriting, a 2011 recipient of the Songwriter's Hall of Fame Abe Olman Award for Excellence in Songwriting, winner of the 2011 Harvard Rocks Showcase, as well as the winner of Perez Hilton’s “Can You Sing?” competition for her rendition of “Without You” by David Guetta featuring Usher.
Brown recently released an extended single featuring her award winning single “Bumblebee” as well as two other critically acclaimed songs—“Diamond in the Rough” and a live performance of “Lullaby.” The single is available at Brown’s shows and through various digital distributors. The multi-talented vocalist is also currently working on her as-yet-untitled debut album, expected to be released in early 2012.

 'Horrendous Mendez' a.k.a. Paul Muggleton

Born in England in 1947  emigrated to Bermuda 10 years later, Paul made an impact on the island as a teenager, as part of the now legendary garage band 'The Savages', alongside Jimmy O'Connor, Bobby Zuill and Howie Rego. They went on to record the now highly collectable album, 'Live n' Wild' at the Hub [a nightclub at the Princess Hotel in Hamilton, Bermuda].

After this the band travelled to New York  where they were very lucky to get the house band slot at Steve Paul's prestigious venue "The Scene" in New York, where they supported Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Black Flag, Stevie Winwood, Jose Feliciano, Tiny Tim, The Young Rascals and The Pigeons (Vanilla Fudge).They also toured the West
Indies twice with the Merrymen. The Savages then split up and Paul and Jimmy O'Connor then joined Andy Newmark and Glenn Mello and made the 'Bermuda Jam' album for Bob Crewe's Dynovoice Label.

Early in 1969 Paul moved to Spain in order to attend the University of Madrid, and studied classical guitar, before moving to England in the early 70s to start a family.

In 1976 he formed "Omaha Sheriff" with Bermudian Michael Spencer- Arscott, Bob Noble and Chris Birkett, recording two fantastic albums with Tony Visconti for RCA.

After splitting amicably, Paul and Bob Noble joined Judie Tzuke's band and toured extensively throughout the 80s. Paul ended up producing her albums with Mike Paxman and since then has been working as a producer for numerous artists, culminating in producing many of the tracks on the 'Double Fantasy' John Lennon Tribute album.

The 'Horrendous Mendez' alter-ego appeared in the late noughties, as a way for Paul to present and revisit his solo material, a chaotic, eclectic outlet for his artistic musings…

Tim Deal is a super talented 22 year old multi-instrumentalist, songwriter (topline and track) and producer as well as a singer and DJ. 

Tim co-wrote The Saturdays' No.3 single, 'All Fired Up', as well as tracks for Kylie Minogue and The Woo Woos. He regularly writes at Xenomania as well as sessions outside of it and has recently been writing with/for The Wanted, Girls Aloud, Amelia Lily, Fabio Lendrum, Tom Neville and Space Cowboy (Lady Gaga). Birmingham born Errol Reid has enjoyed a successful career in the music industry. He achieved worldwide chart hit success with the hit single ‘Searching’ in the mid 90’s as the lead singer/songwriter of the band China Black signed to the Polydor label Wild Card. The single reached No 2 in the UK charts and stayed in the top 5 for 3 months. He also recorded the England Rugby World Cup Anthem "Swing Low Sweet Chariot" with Ladysmith Black Mombasa. Errol has performed in most of the World’s major arenas, singing duets with Robin Gibb on his Bee Gee’s Magnet World Tour and with the late great Barry White live on TV in Paris. He has supported international stars such as R Kelly, Sounds of Blackness, Jamiraquai, Dina Carol, Burning Spear, the late Gil Scott Heron and the legendary Tom Jones. Errol has also stamped his mark on the contemporary dance scene through collaborating with some of the biggest House DJ/Producers around today. 

What does John Lennon mean to me?

The first time I heard The Beatles even as a kid I knew they had something different to all the other records and artists my parents and my brothers from Jamaica were playing. John Lennon's 'Imagine' as a song always stood out for me, the quality, simplicity, truth and heart its lyrics contain touched me then, as they still do today. You can't help but sing along. The ultimate pop song... 

What does the song you're singing mean to you? 

I love John Lennon's song 'Living On Borrowed Time' it's sentiment effortlessly maps out my basic journey through life. As much as I may plan for tomorrow, we really only have the here and now, as tomorrow isn't guaranteed. I try my very best not to worry about things too much, as we're all living on borrowed time...

Bailey

Some people will clearly recognise Bailey's voice from the massive worldwide hit single 'Uninvited' with the Freemasons, others may have heard the mesmerizing All Thieves track 'Turn and Turn Again' on Youtube, used to such great effect for a full 6 minutes in a episode of Grey's Anatomy.

Bailey is the daughter of English singer songwriter Judie Tzuke who is also singing on the John Lennon tribute album and Paul Muggleton [a miss-placed onion] a successful UK based producer brought up in Bermuda and a member of the legendary band The Savages & The Bermuda Jam. He is also Producing many of the songs on the album. 

Bailey has toured with her mother from the age of 14 and has supported Rufus Wainwright on her own.She is currently recording with the legendary Youth who is producing and co-writing her eagerly awaited debut album. She is at this moment in London, rehearsing with her band for upcoming shows. 

Bailey's favourite place in Bermuda is The Botanical Gardens and is proud to have been asked to do a John Lennon song she has loved as a child...

Tallula

Tallula [Tallula Mai Muggleton-Tzuke] is the youngest daughter of Judie Tzuke and Paul Muggleton, she is no stranger to the stage having at fifteen done a major tour with her mother on backing vocals and is in the process of doing tracks for major labels. Her great love is drama and as a drama major wants to follow this career. 
 
She loves Bermuda and has spent many holidays there visiting her relatives. her favourite place is Fairmont Southampton beach where her elder sister got married.


OH MY LOVE - BAILEY & TALLULA TZUKE

Lennon Bermuda is a tribute to John's journey to the island in 1980 where he wrote Double Fantasy. 
There is an annual concert to celebrate PEACE and the memory of John Lennon every September on or around Peace Day September 21st
