Today I got back a demo tape from an old promoter from New Castle (Scotland), where I also played in June 1995. The recording is from  1995 and like almost all Goa Trance DJs at that time I used 2 Sony DAT players. 
I would like to thank Matthew David Richards who kept this tape for 26 years and sent it to me in MP3 format.
So I would like to leave it here as a free download for all lovers of old school music and especially for the visitors and organisers of the Z.N.A Gathering.
Because you can't get more old school than this

After quite some silence, and a few rather lackluster excursions into goa/psytrance crossover sets, I was invited to play in Tampere, Finland. My previous visit was in 2019, and I knew that now I need to deliver. So I dug deep into my digital record bag, and picked tracks of suitable intensity for a closing set*. And I have to say, I haven't had this much fun playing a DJ set in years. A few small blunders here and there, but minimal imperfections bring a certain charm to a DJ set :)
This set was recorded live at the event.

2020 ended bitterly as we lost one of the most unique artists in world psytrance. Flowjob was a true innovator, with a unique style that shone through his music.

Active through a period of great inspiration prog psy either side of 2010, and then its slow decline through homogenisation in recent years, his tunes always stood out as genuine and largely unique. They contain a quirkiness that was decidely his, and a knack for mixing strong melodies with subtle psychedelia.

This mix showcases tunes from over a decade of his career.

Turbulence is a dj-project from Turo Markkanen, Funland. His active electronic music journey started in 2002 in Helsinki, when he visited electronic music partyes for the first time. Year after that when he turned 18, he’s parents gave him a car as a birthday present, but he decided to sell it away: he wanted to buy a pair of vinyl players and mixer, cause spinning the decks was more fascinating than driving around in a town.

Since then, Turbulence has had his part in events and festivals around in Finland, Russia, Europe and Asia, especially in Goa.

His sound can be described as night and twisted full-on trance, flavoured with shamanistic and forestry echo aspects followed with deep and grooving rhythms and all in between of your own mind & imagination. 

Turbu is also the main brains of Bermuda Gathering in Funland, which is at the moment the oldest annual meeting point where friends, art & music has met each other for one weekend since 2007.
