SOLARA started mixing in 2017 and got her first set at a venue House of Hi-Fi love and enjoy, The Old Firestation in the city we originated in, Bournemouth.

Lockdown gave her a chance to upgrade her decks and learn new skills, check out her first track ‘History Of Gods’ released on 4th September

Bass.Invadaz Podcast No.23 - Duosphere

Kim’s first exposure to Drum and Bass was at the legendary Rote Fabrik in Zürich at the tender age of 14 after being passionate about music her entire life.
Her friends Randy & Upcut of local Harddrums crew had a little studio with turntables that seemed to draw her in more and more and led to her buying more and more tunes and eventually, DJing herself. She got her first gig at the now defunct Rohstofflager in Zürich in 2002.
K-Base is known for her tight mixing skills and her powerful, „all styles of D&B“ selections. Her favourite artists include Goldie, Chase & Status, Ed Rush & Optical to name but a few. A major part of the Swiss scene and promoter JUR Records today, her DJing highlights include Street Parade 2017 and Soul of Diverity a year later.
